I missed 12/29...

When the tix first went on sale, I said, "I'm not spending that kind of money! I'll go to the NJ shows and one MSG show" hmph!

Then I sat AT the December show and ordered the tix for the Jan 18th show on my BB... redface

Then the Feb. 7th show was a no-brainer.

lol

I'm hoping for some Philly dates... I love going to shos down there. biggrin

You were sitting during a Prince show?

Not that there's anything wrong with that, I'm just surprised. Everybody near me stood the whole time.

doh!

I can't believe you isolated that one line to nitpick!

I did not order the tickets during Prince's performance... It was actually in between GCS and Prince.

I am so tired of having to justify using the seat that I paid for...

BUT I've said on more than one thread: It is NOT MANDATORY to stand during the entire concert.

I stood thru most of the show, sitting when I felt like resting.

As long as I didn't require the people in front of me to sit so I can see, what is the big deal?

(On one thread, someone wrote that it was "disrespectful" to sit. Really? lol)

Sitting is a sin at a Prince concert! Consider yourself excommunicated and you are now one of the banished ones! Paying 200 dollars for a seat doesn't mean you have to use it! lol

When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

I only went to 3 of the six(should've been 4 but they canncelled the first one). Tickets alone ran me $1000. Souvenirs were another $250. Hanging out and eating & drinking with my new peeps was priceless!

highfive

I only did 3 of the six shows too, and I have to agree the new friends was definitely a highlight.

I sat during the slow songs, as did many of the people around me. I also sat when my son wanted to sit on my lap. I stood and danced when the grooves were funky...and when the people in front of me blocked my view. To each their own on whether they stand or sit or dance. The REAL important things are being there and having a funky good time.

I went to the 2nd Izod & have to say, the venue seating was terrible. Packed in too tightly to be able to dance. I paid a sickening amount for 3rd row VIP seats & the security were arse holes. I'd stand in the fire exit to dance & be told to go back to my seat!

I went to Jan show at MSG, again spending $$$$ for 6th row seats but got upgraded as these seats had been double booked! 2nd row it was OUT OF THIS WORLD. I even managed to sneak on stage & dance with the VIP's. MOST AMAZING.

Then in Feb..... I took my daughter, she's 8 & LOVED IT. 10th row but we didn't go to our seats once. Security at MSG were so much better, did't have stupid expectations of anyone staying in their seats. We went straight to the dance floor & didn't leave it.

He is amazing. I'm broke & my daughter is now stealing my CDS!!! But i like it smile

Thank you for sharing yourself with us Prince..... PLEASE< PLEASE don't leave it so long this time.
