I read on Misty Copeland's website that she will be performing "The Beautiful Ones" again with Prince at Madison Square Garden on February 7, 2011. I've been a longtime old school fan of Prince but now I'm a fan of Misty too. I was lucky enough to see them perform at Madison Square Garden in December. I can't afford to go again, but for anyone who is lucky enough to have tickets for this concert, you won't be disappointed! Misty brings elegance and her chemistry with Prince is undeniable. I am posting a link to one of her videos and an article I found online. I was curious about her after I saw them perform. I Googled her and there's so much information it will probably take me weeks to get through it all. She's very accomplished. I think I'm becoming a ballet fan now.

This posting seems rather interesting. I am going to ask this directly and to the point. Are you Misty's publicist? Are you Misty or a friend of Misty? I find it rather suspicious that your account on Prince.Org was just opened January 2011 and your only posts are related to Misty.

I honestly am not impressed by Misty and it is my opinion she is another person trying to use Prince to obtain additional exposure in a market she has not been exposed to previously. I would recommend he not have her perform at future performances.

I have a feeling I shouldn't even dignify this with a reponse but I feel compelled to do so. I am just a long time fan of Prince and a recent fan of Misty. I don't know either of them personally. I'm truly sorry you feel the way that you do. I appreciate talent and that's my final and only response regarding this.

Well from what I read Prince went after HER and chose HER to dance in these shows which is nice of him. So if she IS being exposed to a different audience it's Prince that's making that possible.

Misty Copeland is a soloist with ABT (American Ballet Theatre), one of THE most prestigious and well-known ballet companies in the country.

There's nothing that performing with Prince could bring her that she doesn't already have, on her own.

And if you knew anything about the ballet world, and exactly how much of their lives they have to devote to rehearsal and keeping their bodies in peak condition to be able to perform those ballets...you'd know that she really doesn't have the time to spam Prince fan-forums under fake names.
