Oh. I deleted it because no one responded. Then I realized that my post had no relivance without the acutal video which I didn't want to post here...etc, etc. Just felt it was a silly post.

Just thought about this... the story about 'Adore' and what was happening in the audience that night when this song was playing. Maybe he was touched by the proposal that was happening when he sang this song.

I thought about that too. I say it because before he began to get emotional he kept looking in the audiance. I wish I had been paying attention to that couple but I never noticed anything because I was too busy singing and screaming my friggin' head off!!

No! I want to talk about Prince getting emotional when he sang "Adore!" He should have followed it up with "One of Your Tears..."

What did he sing after Adore anyway? As far as I know he shut the house down with that one song.

And to keep us on topic, this is the first time I've ever seen him emotianal. It's hard to even talk about...*shudder*

As far as I have seen in a video clip I found, after Adore he and the backup singers disappeared below the stage ... don't know what song came afterwards.

But have you noticed how he almost screamed in Shelby's arms when he sang Scandalous or Insatiable (don't think it was Adore - but I'm not sure and I can't look it up at the moment)? That was also very emotional!! I love it when he sings with all his heart like that - he is like the godfather of soul then. Awesome!!

It was Scandelous. I recorded it. And he sure was screaming in her arms. That's cool that he's so comfortable with her.

I'm saying no such thing, I just did not remember which song it was because I saw that video only once. And they are all slow songs, so forgive me if I could not tell from memory which one it was.
