Hands Down Last Nite Was The Best Prince Show Yet!

There is no ifs, ands or buts, this show last night was the best show on the Welcome 2 America tour. This show has even topped the 2 past Jersey shows. I am so glad that i was able to witness this show. Sharon Jones and The Dap Kings were incredible, just really amazing and funky. Now i am really excited about The February show.Ok i will see all u purple funky hippies on the 7th.

Amen to that! It was the best show of the series, even though I have a special spot for the Dec 17th show in NJ. The whole WTA series has been nothing short of amazing and I'm so glad that Prince is here to give us NYers and anyone else willing to come, the time of our lives!

Bring on Feb 7th!!!!! headbang

I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Colour may not matter but often other cultures and even some in US who are not afraid of politically uncorrectness often just use adjectives to describe people...no big deal. Nothing more nothing less..

Whats wrong with black and white? as long as it doesn't mean anything?

I'm white, you may be black. Who cares?

But there is nothing wrong with describing someone by their color surely?

I certainly wouldn't be offended to be called white. Political correctness gone crazy.

Cute white couple are a cute white couple, jeeze.

Nothing is wrong with it....in my opinion. Everyone is a big mixed bag of chips to start with so using a descriptor is not a big deal.

I have been to the 12/17, 12/18, 12/29 and 1/18, and the 1/18 was the best so far, I found the setlist varied and he played more blistering guitar than at the previous shows, and Dreamer live is an earthquake.

i was also at last night and the Dec. 18 show. i think the crowd energy was better at the Dec. show, but there is NO WAY the Dec. 18 performance was better than last night. these 2 shows were completely different, and thank God. i felt like i was ripped off in Dec. cause the show was so short and only Kiss and Love Bizarre for the encores. Prince brought it big time last night and redeemed himself !!! we got a very inspired prince last night and it was so refreshing to experience and to see HIM having such a genuiely great time. i really think he would have kept going after 11pm if there was no curfew at MSG. (who made up that curfew rule anway???mad ).

couldn't agree more!!! Dreamer comes off great live and should stay in the set for now- just killer.

Agreed about the crowd in general. My 12/29 crowd was better but the show for 1/18 was better. I was worried (he'd pick up that strange vibe and loose it)at first but it really was amazing:)

If he pulled off that setlist at the Garden then the rest of America is going to be in for some real treats when he can sell out big arenas that don’t have a bullshit union curfew.
