which prince tour had dancers?? hey y'all, i'm trying to figure out which tour/s of prince's used backing dancers. i've seen the credit on several dancers and choreographers resume. it's just listed as TAFKAP US tour - NPG. i believe he used some of janet jackson's dancers, and choreographer tina landon. i know tina did the betcha by golly wow video, so maybe it was around this era?? i know if anyone would know, it would be an ORG-er! any info would be greatly appreciated!! | |

I knew all of this, but never realised the Act II tour didn't have Damon, Kirk and Tony M. I figured they were just different legs of the same tour and everything was the same (although I know he started playing more of the B-Sides stuff on the Act II leg as the Hits album was out / due out.)

thank you SO much for this info! much appreciated. still unsure though as most of these credits are band members who also danced (other than diamond & pearl) rather than backing dancers. i know the tour i am looking for was while he was known as TAFKAP. i believe it was both a US & international tour. i know kelly konno (one of janet jackson's dancers) was one of the troupe of dancers on the tour.

Could some1 tell me why Prince doesn't hire his ex Mayte for some of his concerts? She is a beautiful dancer and very gracious. I would love to see them perform together. | |

Beacuse she already choreographed a few tours. He's been there done that & we all know Princey does not like to re-visit the past. Peace. Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews. | |

but once I thought about it, even though she is truly gifted, blessed and talented and they were electric 2gether..
.there may be too much between them which would make a bussiness reunion...too painful...to bad I love them together professionally and personally & they are incredibly beautiful to watch also...I pray them both peace with their past
