2011 Jeff Beck Tour

Does anyone know if Rhonda and Narada Michael Walden will be part of Jeff Beck's band on his 2011 Rock 'n Roll party tour? I see the Imelda May band listed but I cannot tell if they will be his band or a supporting act for the tour.

I HATE that the previous tour did not come to Chicago in 2010. I would love to see him with Rhonda and Narada.

I hope for your sake that Rhonda and Walden are still in the band. I saw the Beck concert last year and they were smoking hot! Don't miss the opportunity to see it. wink

I can only imagine how hot that band was because that rhythm section had to take Jeff to another level. I really wanted to seem them and could not fathom why they didn't have a Chicago stop in 2010.

I just read a piece on the tour and it doesn't mention Rhonda or Narada. It just talks about Jeff and Imelda and how they are basically reprising the tribute they did to Les Paul before. Sot he tour is basically a Les Paul tribute.

Jeff Beck's ROCK & ROLL PARTY TOUR is a side show at best. There will be only 11 dates in support of his forthcoming new album JEFF BECK'S ROCK& ROLL PARTY HONORING LES PAUL (release date on cd, dvd and blu-ray on Feb. 22nd).

He will be backed by Imelda May and her band - the same musicians on the new album.

He will reconnect with Rhonda Smith and Narada Michael Walden (and keyboardist Jason Rebello) for his second tour of the USA and some European festivals starting mid April.

As of now that tour is not slated for Chicago.

Dates are still be planeed for that leg, but Minneapolis, Kansas City, Pittsburgh, Louisville and New Orleans have already been booked in the US.

Thanks so much for the update, though this is really disappointing news for me. I have been waiting to see him with Rhonda and Narada in Chicago. sad

They played last year at Eric Clapton's Crossroads Festival.I know it sold out quick and was a 12 hour concert.
