Well, I've been a fan for approx. 26 years, seen him only twice, last time being in 2004, so for me, yeah, $200, + flight from Canada + Hotel & a few days to hang in NYC is worth it, even if it's mostly the hits and hot more varied setlist that includes recent songs, it's still Prince, and he's still amazing! If I lived in the vicinity of NYC, I'd probably be at every show. [Edited 1/14/11 18:06pm] | |

Sad to say I'm leaning towards a "no". When I first realized Prince was coming to NYC I was thrilled. I've been a fan since 1980 and have seen Prince in concert three times (twice in USA and once in Ireland). I love his live shows. But I never paid anything close to $200, not even $100. I think Prince has priced me out - especially when I read about the 11 p.m. curfew and the greatest hits setlist.
I'm happy for everyone who can afford to go, but I'm probably gonna sit this one out.
