There's no indication of any recording circulating (video or audio) ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.

Audio is definitely circulating (or has circulated I should say). I have heard it.

I'm pretty sure that's against the rules. Besides I don't have a link. It's somethng firm back in the early days of napster etc. Its not really that great. It's something you'd only listen to once or twice. Its basically the groove of the original "irresistible bitch" with Pon bass and Morris on drums and P doing his Jamie Starr/Morris voice very much like the Tricky b-side. He keeps talk in about some woman Cloreen and dissing her. He keeps cueing the drummer, calling him "Albert" Baconskin, i.e. cloreen's brother. And he keeps cracking Morris up. It kinda goes on forever. I cant remember now if also adds some synth, screamng out "gimme some horns!" cuz i mix this and Tricky up in my head.

I'm sure you are correct, GaryMF .. it is against the rules for people to solicit unofficial recordings.
But this thread is not about a recording from the Napster days ... it's about Prince's performance with ?uestlove on drums from the private aftershow at Butter in NYC on 30 December 2010 (am) - as described at the start of the thread
From what you have said, this seems to suggest that you haven't heard a recording from that show.
(What you seem to be describing is the official studio release of the track on Crystal Ball). ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.

I think they were inquiring if the "recent" aftershow performance with 2uestlove playing drums a few nights ago aftershow was circulating.

Yes to clarify i was talking about the orig recording. I dnt know anything about the Butter after show.

Did you NOT read the OP's title and the actual text of what they wrote?? How on earth could you think this was about a recording on the Crystal Ball album in the "Concerts" section? Right.
By the way, the name of his "drummer" in the song is ALFRED, not "Albert".

Calm down, it's not that serious.

And what makes you think I'm not calm? I'm very calm. But if wasn't "serious" to you, you should've just stayed out of it.
