Question regarding timing of concerts Just curious if anyone has insight into why these concerts are spread out across the calendar this way. That is, why are there generally single shows every 10 to 20 days (excluding the opening 3 shows which were in a shorter timespan)? I don't recall ever seeing anything like that before (with him or any other artist) and wanted to know if anyone had any ideas as to why he was scheduling in this manner. Thanks in advance for any ideas contributed.

I Think its due to age he's not a spring chicken anymore. But he does have his energy spurts such as looking at the NJ dates and the Dec 18 Msg date. "tonight ur a Star and I'm the Big dipper"

Kinda of a situation where when your signed u have to do it their way, u can't necessarily take a quick break if choose to.
Mainly, like he did in the UK, if he felt like it and the venue & date was AVAILABLE then he does a concert. He likes performing when he feels like it rather than have too.

The shows where booked to when the venues are available ... you know msg has events year round including basketball & hockey. Since the Nets don't play at Izod anymore there are more dates usually open over there Nick Ashford was someone I greatly admired, had the honor of knowing, and was the real-life inspiration for Cowboy Curtis' hair.
