Hey everybody, I've been reading these forums for quite some time but never bothered to register and post something until now. I was one of the lucky guys that got pulled up on stage on 12/17 when Prince asked the crowd if anybody wanted to dance with Sheila E!!!!!!!!

I was in the front row all the way on the other side of the stage behind the back-up singers. (Even at 6ft 4 they were pretty horrible seats even for front row.... but that's another story) Fortunately, I was able to make eye contact with the back-up singers during most of the show.

After Sheila finished Love Bizarre, Prince shouted out something about bringing some fella's up on stage to dance with Sheila. So I quickly ran all the way to the other side of the stage to the VIP roped off section. That's where they were pulling people up from (and maybe one or two of the front rows but I can't be sure) I went to push my way through and security grabbed me. Right at that moment one of the three ladies saw me and recognized me and told security to let me through and that was that!

I ran over to Sheila and she gave me a huge hug (she looks fabulous by the way) We then proceeded to dance for a bit when it hit me, duh Prince is standing there too. I must have looked like a complete idiot.

For whatever reason no one was really keeping us from getting close to Prince so I walked over and just danced literally right next to him while he was playing some makeshift drum set. It was kind of weird b/c at 6ft 4, I TOWERED over him. It was so surreal to be on stage let alone that close to Prince.

We were up there for what seemed like an eternity. If I remember correctly it was for close to 10 minutes?.... I think he covered two songs from the Time while were there and then we were ushered off stage. I kept looking around thinking I was missing something and that security was gonna come rushing out of no where to usher us all off stage.

I still can't believe it happened........ Anyway, my mom was with me and of course she was too excited and a bit "technologically" challenged to take any good pics.

I'm hoping someone out there who reads this took a picture or two where I'm actually recognizable! lol. I was the really tall guy wearing dark jeans and multi-purple colored striped shirt.

great feelin right... i had the pleasure of dancing and singing with him during the Musicology tour.. on difference is i have the dvd which i shared with my org crew on 12/18..

I was blessed to be on stage in 2004 Nassau Coliseum Musicology show. My wife and I were on stage for a good 20-25 mins and he gave me a high five locking hands and all. Its a great rush especially if you're a big fan.

Almost got on stage Sat Night at MSG but got bumped for the celebrities. Was standing right by stairs with the chance to go but then they only brought up celebs and their families/friends. Totally understand as it set a nice vibe and got a big hug from Professor Cornell West when he came off (seems like a fun guy).

Again, congrats and hopefully someone has a good picture for U!

Well, I'm really happy with ur joy! That must've been really amazing being with Prince on the stage! Anyway, I still regret that I didn't make it on a concert in Berlin but when I finnaly got close to the stage people had been already there with Prince... But a smile that I got from him later recompensed everything!

Congratulations! I guess you've got a feeling that is to never be matched and will be with memories for a long, long time.

You should see, if anyone has gotten these moments on film or vid.
