This show was cool too! Alot more people were there, so it was harder to dance. The folks in my section were super boring and sat down almost the entire. Didn't bother me though, cause I stood up and danced the entire show!! Making folks super mad, but oh well, that's what you do at a Prince concert, jam!! I thought the setlist wasn't as much fun as the 15th show, but still very fun. I REALLY enjoyed the guitar solos Prince did. I was totally in awe at this show with Prince just popping up on stage with Cassandra and Maceo! WOW, he looked gorgeous though..these outfits were really great, especially that first one.

Again, my $20.10 seats got upgraded to $179 seats for free!!! It really pays off to dance your butt off and really represent Prince. I know everyone working there remembers me! lol Really pays off, and worked well in my favor this time around!! Sheila popping up was super cool, and Maceo rocked the house. Prince was amazing, especially when he came out for the encores and kept the lights on. That was really, really fun!! And he was super hot in those sunglasses and gold outfit. I kept trying to pump the people up in my section to get up and scream so he comes back!!

thumbs up! awesome!

We were at Redd's too and took the shuttle. We stayed at the Econolodge down the street. Too bad didn't run into you there!

We did the exact same thing, stayed at the Econolodge and hopped on the Redd's shuttle. Since it was just like a minute long ride, we didn't want 2 deal with the hassle of waiting 4 the pickup after the concert so we made the 10 minute walk back 2 the hotel. It was all good, except 4 the free hotel breakfast in the freezing cold. Damn, never ate my Cap'n Crunch with soy milk outside in 25 degree weather b4.

~okay folks! so sorry in the delay in posting, but here it is....

FYI.....I DO NOT TWITTER OR BLOG NOR AM I ON FACEBOOK. THIS POST (SAME ONE ON MOQUAKE.COM) IS THE ONLY ONE I HAVE MADE/WILL MAKE REGARDING THIS CONCERT EXPERIENCE.

My 8 year-old and I were in the NJ/NY area for the weekend. We planned to see the Friday show in conjunction with a visit to the American Girl store Saturday to pick out "Santa Claus" gifts. This was a Christmas/Mommy-Daughter fun weekend and the only way I can best describe the entire experience is BIZARRE.

I cannot even begin to describe the ODD, STRANGE occurances during our travels:

1. celebrity look-alikes on the plane (mix of Gabrielle Union/Beyonce), at the American Girl store tea party (Renato), in the airport security line (Ludacris)...the list goes on;

2. more than one weird old man sitting next to us at different points during the weekend/pretending to know us...one flashing his cash on the NJ Transit (while telling someone on a cellphone that he wasn't an Eagles Fan...yet he had on a green Eagles Jersey);

3. text messages from numbers I've never seen;

4. a hang up call from a phone number that is not in service;

5. sickness after eating breakfast Saturday morning....

and the list goes on.....

At any rate, we were on the trip ALONE and had a FANTASTIC weekend! We had tickets to the Friday night show because I couldn't afford tickets to Saturday night MSG too (didn't want to sit in the nosebleed section...lol). From what I know, the Saturday night show was also sold out.

Anyway....now to the important part (party!!!):

~what an EXTRAORDINARY, MAGICAL, VERY SPECIAL show!!!

I am honored and blessed to have been able to attend such an incredible night of fun, happiness, music and ENERGY. As you are already aware, the setlist was a dream... The songs were full versions, and I danced my toosh almost completely off....LOL smile

There is no question that there was a supernatural energy moving throughout the entire arena Friday night. Some may call it excitement....I am a SPIRITUAL (not religious) person and would call it the Holy Spirit. It was evident from their faces that Prince and Co. sensed it, and I thought P even looked a little in awe at what was going on... eek

We had a spectacular view from where we were sitting.....soooo much better than being on the floor. My daughter really enjoyed the show, but faded fast....she was so hot that she pulled her leggings up to her knees and sat for a good portion of the last part... smile

Prince was gorgeous.....the sparkly outfits/his body was smokin.... the man's definitely been working out. smile His performance was SPECTACULAR...he looked extremely happy and danced more than I've seen in the past....FUN, FUN, FUN to watch. Prince and the ladies were super together.....what VOICES, and I loved Shelby's black "Mad Maxx Tina Turner" outfit.....she rocked it!

The band was wonderful, and the surprise Sheila E performance couldn't have been more perfect! Prince and Sheila on stage together was quite a show. Maceo and Cassandra were, of course, AWESOME and such a treat!!!

QUESTIONS TO PONDER:

Why didn't Prince play the piano.....it was set up and he made his way over to sit down from what I remember.....who knows?

Why was it so hard to clearly understand the words being sung....I don't know a whole lot about sound, but it was distorted?

Why did attendees sitting a few rows behind us think that it was appropriate to bring a whistle to a concert to blow? I felt like we were sitting in front of Gym Teacher/Boot Camp wanna bees....who does that??? confused confused confused

At any rate....if I never see Prince in concert again, I will be happy remembering 12/17/2010 as I watch the downloads from you wonderful Prince.org and Moquake members. What a memorable Christmas season, 2010!!!

PS...I didn't take any pictures or video because from what I remember, Prince didn't like that....guess hez changed his mind.....yay!

Thank You Prince! thumbs up! XOXO

Couldn't believe how many people did.

My girl and I have a rule, we never leave until they start breaking down the stage wink
