Tonight will be my first time seeing Prince!!! Anyone else??

prepare to be addicted, aftershow is where the real P lurkes though, hope you get a chance to go. Really pleased for you, hope it's a great one.

Not my first, my 10th. Just a few words of advice.

1> If you drink alcohol, Drink responsibly, Don't get wasted. I made that mistake during the One Nite Alone concert. Oh well atleast I missed all the TRC stuff.

2. Wear comfortable dancing shoes. Dance your butt off. If youre shy, Screw it! Shake it like your mama gave you somethin!!

3. Don't use flash photography! I got my camera taken away by burly security guards. However I did ask for it. I went to the tip of the stage and started flashing away. There goes my camera. Prince did'nt like it. He laughed at me.

Don't forget to write your report when u recoupe.

Awesome! All I've ever heard is what an amazing show he puts on - it sounds like the man rarely disappoints on that front. I have been a fan since '84 and seeing him will be somewhat of a dream come true! To all going tonight - ENJOY!

You first timers will have a fabulous time. This man can put on a show!!!!!

I have been to 5 and this will be my 6th. My hubby even went to one, even though he is not a huge Prince fan, he went with me and loved it. Told everyone how great of a performer Prince puts on.

So have a blast and let us know what you think. I will be at the Saturday show.

27th! Awesome! I live in the US, so I don't even think I have had that many chances. LOL. Although, at one time I was swearing that I was going fly to MPLS to see him. That is a LONG flight!!!!

I've also been a fan since around 1984, but my first time was in 2002, during ONA show, I had front row centre tickets, at Canada's National Arts Centre, the view could not be beat, so now I know I'll probably never have good seats like that! The benchmark has been set. The show was amazing!

Second time was Musicology in Boston in 2004. Show was good, floor seats kind of sucked though :\ but I still enjoyed myself.

Third time will be this coming December 29th, got VIP tickets!!

Sounds like you've seen some great shows! Last night was amazing - seeing Prince and his band made me feel like I'm a pretty crappy musician, lol. Anyway - enjoy the VIP seats!!!

what a show

I have been a die hard fan of Prince ever since i saw Purple Rain when i was 13. From then on, it was never the same. OMG, when i saw him on Wed, i was just happy to be in the same room with a Legend, innovator , Risk-taker like him. He is soooo soooo talented!!! My first time seeing it overall i think it was awesome!!!! It was kinda funny though how they had the hide the empty seats on the top level with black curtains. . .i was like wow really? I soooooooo wanted to hear little red corvette, Doves Cry, Thieves in the Temple etc. I mean the set list was fine with me. I just wanted to hear the song i first heard from Prince when i was 13, which was Purple Rain and he rocked it!!! I was therally impressed indeed. VIP seats or not, it should not matter, I had a great time!! Now i am falling in love with his doves all over again.

hey guys I went to the show on Saturday and it was my first time too. I am still amazed at how awesome it was!! The way he moved, it was just breath taking!! I am still reeling over it like it was yesterday. I just feel so blessed to have been able see him finally in person after so many years of wanting to!!

My friend that went with me was nervous the week before because she thought I was just going to lose it when I saw him, but when he started singing Purple Rain I looked over and SHE had tears streaming down her face!! She is a fairly new fan of Prince's but its cool to see how infectious he is live in concert...every thing he does is with such ease!
