Don't forget! This has been billed as a variety show of sorts, where Prince will serve as the EMCEE. So, I would wager that you'll be there in time to see him perform his stuff, as I'd imagine he'll headline, but you'll miss other appearances, since it sounds like he'll be on stage regularly.

I'm not so sure that they are the ones to blame!

To the OP, I don't think the guests are going to be opening acts. I think they will join Prince onstage throughout the show. Prince usually is late to start, although the last time I saw him it was pretty close to the advertised start time.

if i put damn prince i'd get rotten tomatoes thrown at me..
