I'm too excited for this show.

It's my first Prince concert (FINALLY)! I've been waiting years! His last U.S. tour I couldn't make to any of the shows due to lack of funds... plus I was rather young to be attending alone...

But I'm finally getting my chance!

Is anyone else attending the December 29th show at Madison Square Garden? I'll be going with my boyfriend, whom I've gotten to adore Prince's music. If anyone else is going, look for me - I'm the short kid with orange hair!

I have high hopes that he'll perform "Sticky Like Glue" and "The Question Of U," among many others... but I'd get a kick out of that.

Welcome Stevie... I'll be there on the 29th too.. I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself.. I can remember being excited to see him for the first time too.. ( Purple Rain Tour)...I'm a seasoned veteran now

That would be soooo awesome if Prince performs "Question of U". I saw a performance of that on video, from a concert sometime ago, and it was amazing. I sure hope he plays "Shhh" too. New Yorkers would love that!

It's not that serious but for me, it definately changed my view of Prince and made me into a bigger fan and I didn't think that could be possible at the time. It really was that exciting for me. Plus, it was my first concert EVER so the whole concert going experience just turned my world around and opened my eyes to the seeing big name acts on the stage. I'm just excited to see Prince again and to see that others who haven't seen him before will get that chance, man I'm more excited for them than for myself!

I'm flying in from Canada with my boyfriend for the Dec. 29th show and staying for NYE!! I'm so excited too, I can't wait! I've been a fan for over 26 years (I'm 34), but this will only be my 3rd time seeing him (I grew up in the middle of nowhere and with very little money for an luxuries). My first time was the ONA tour in 2002, front row, centre, it was the best! Second time was Musicology, the fact that I had a bad spot on the floor kind of ruined it for me a bit, it was still great, but a little disappointing.

This time, I got the W2A VIP tickets, hoping my view will be good. Hope to see you there.

^I remember being in the 300 section at one Musicology concert and in the 200 section the next day at MSG, but regardless of where I sat, I had a great time, because the atmosphere was full of high energy in MSG, and I was still able to have a great time. MSG will be rocking on 12/29!

Sidenote: Just be prepared from the roar of the audience when they demand for prince to come out and do an encore, it will sound like thunder in the place. I remember on the 2nd night of the Musicology show in July, 2004, at MSG, it had rained a bit, about 2 hours before the show, so fans had their umbrellas on them, and when Prince sang "Purple Rain" people were standing with their umbrellas opened, and singing along.... it was awesome.

It can never compare but seeing Prince has made me want to see what other acts do live on stage and I've seen quite a few acts and enjoyed them all. Even with that, NONE can compare to Prince. He's in another galaxy as far as I'm concerned.

wow. i've seen all my fave bands i ever wanted to see MOSTLY. but i never got to see INXS with michael but i did with jd fortune. GUNS N ROSES didn't show up and there was a huge riot. prince was the one i was always crossing my fingers that he'd come around and i could see him...one more month!!!

I will be there for this show...my tix suck (section 314, K) but..am excited to be in the building! This is my 5th Prince show and the worst tickets yet, but i really wanted to see him again. I live in Atlanta and got my tix (don't have my plane tickets yet) but will get there for sure!

3 rear stage floor,1 is 7 rows up rear stage but the 3rd night of jersey i'm 7 rows from the tip of the arrow looking part of the symbol!!!!! ya think thats close enough for a shit to DANCE ONSTAGE???

@ purplemookiebut: How much are you paying to go to 5 shows? I just spent nearly 500 dollars for two tickets, so it almost makes me cringe to think about what kind of money you must be shelling out. Then again I don't even blame you... I would do it too if I could.

i cant really do it though. izods were 180 and msg's were 200. i impulse buy when i comes to concert tickets and ghost hunting weekend events...i'm like $200 away from my credit limit so i just opened a second card up...i'll be paying for these for many yrs
