I snap a few pics at gigs, but don't stand with my camera poised at all times.

I can never understand people who stand there drinking like their life depends on it, and then they spend most of the gig shouting at each other and/or going to the toilet.

and they always sit near me. omfg. the last concert. i went to see sting. next to me was a guy and his good female friend. we were a good 25-30 rows back so it was decent but not great seats. he kept screaming to sting woo this is my 500th show!! the drunkier he got the crazier he was towards the girl. at one point he was grabbing at her dress trying to pull it down to get at her $$$ she was keeping in her bra. go buy me another 2 beers!!! see stormed out before the show ended and ppl around me were all screaming at him. seemed like the 2 rows ahead were all crazy drunks getting beers and peeing nonstop.

worst drunks at that show. damn you pay enough for these tickets and your gonna get shitfaced? wtf? and prince hasnt played this area since forever and who knows if he ever will again.

I saw Springsteen one time with a friend- she had seen him a few times, it was my first time. I was amazed that so many people were tailgaiting like it was a football game... as late as 45 min. into the show, from the early afternoon.

(Prince fans "tail-hate": stand around and eye each other before the shows. ).

Then, after drinking and grilling in the sun all day, people came into Giants Stadium and continued to buy beer...

There was family in front of us- Mom, Dad, girl & her bf. Daughter got so wasted, she was groping and kissing all over bf, then fell down the concrete steps on the way back to her seat. She was a sloppy, embarrassing mess. All the dad said to the bf was, "Make sure she gets home okay."

i'm sure security will be well over the top, but they won't take cell phones away... there are super compact cameras out there now, i just bought my daughter a beauty for xmas, it's high performance, no bigger than a cell phone & easy to hide in knickers/cleavage/boxers

Yeah, I just want a few snapshots. Prince isn't paying me to videotape or photograph the whole show so that's not gonna be happening. I just want to take them to work and brag to everyone about how close I was and how they missed it...haha suckas Seriously, I do agree with you about the drinkers. Those drinks are mad expensive at venues so I don't get why anyone would spend that much money to get wasted at a show that they probably spent a pretty penny to get into...save that for the afterparty at least.

Hey, if somebody wants to miss the show because they are looking at their camera I don't mind looking at the pictures. Its just that I have been to well over 200 concerts by various artists and it can be disturbing sometimes.

to even suggest that someone can miss out on the show cuz they are taking a few pics is moronic.

I just stand back and laugh at those people because they usually need all that space to show you just how much they can't dance. It's hilarious.

u have only proved one thing

$10 bucks a beer!! the one time i got a drink was and jack and coke. it was like all ice. never again. i went to a bachelorette party at webster hall. had 6 drinks,4 glasses of champagne, a glass of wine and 2 shots of soco. i didn't even get a slight buzz. ALL ICE!! now the breakfast club in old bridge has giant fish bowls. i had one and my friend marina gave me her's cause she was driving and i had half of that. $12. i got a nice buzz from that....

thats why i dont drink barely ever or i baby one drink for 3 hours.
