Nice to see Sheila back though.

Anyone who has not seen Janelle is in for a real treat. She has such an intense energy onstage. She is kind of like a punk rock Judy Garland. Love that voice. Saw her with Badu. Great memories!

I saw Badu this year, pity she is not performing.

I agree about Monae, i caught two of her shows this year.....pure dynamite.

I've seen videos of her performances, and am looking forward to see her on the 29th ...Mint Condition? Not so much.

I don't understand what the big deal about this is. He's performing a couple dates at a couple venues in NY with some Zzzzzz opening acts. Why is it getting so much hype?

No seriously...

He hasn't "toured here" since 2004: Musicology. He did GMA with an aftershow, and played with Tamar- both in 2006- but that was it.

We have waited through the Las Vegas stint, the O2 shows, and European dates. It's our turn to be excited.

now i believe in GOD!

Esperanza and lalah I can take and even sheila e but the rest? OH HELL 2 THE NO!

I can also take janelle and maceo but the rest of them no way!

He may as well not bother having opening acts and special guests at all - it's always the same people. As good as they may very well be change the record, for Gods sake.

He may not have anything to 'prove' to anyone anymore, but he could at least think a little outside the box once in a while and mix it up. This is just staid and boring.

ive only been to one show w/o a opening act. i was shicked when chris cornell came out for his solo tour.omfg its him already!!

Darn! I wish I could trade Lalah Hathaway out for Larry Graham for the 15th show. Oh well, I"m happy to be getting Maceo on the 17th. The rest are so forgettable. Esperanza I will give a shot though..

In all my Prince experiences, I've never seen Sheila live.
