So... no Prince merchandise? I set some money aside for Prince's Gelredome gig... and then it turns out there's no merch at all. Plus: they charge ouragious prices for vintage merchandise over at eBay. Are other outgoing orgers as dissapointed as I am?

There will be Purple Funky Footspray soon... 99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

Actually, on the upper level there was an official merchandise booth. Read: couple of kids selling a t-shirt. White one with, if i remember right, "20Ten" on the back, and the Prince sketch from the 20Ten cover on the other. So you really didn't miss anything spectacular.
@Rafael: oops, sorry, didn't see you replied that already. [Edited 11/23/10 13:04pm] All that bathing in purple rain just can't be good for your health...

Oh no...I don't like the illustration on the 20TEN album...would not want that on my shirt...I guess I'll have to order the shirt from the Welcome 2 America store....did I hear someone say that the shirts usually run very small? Has anyone that ordered one received it yet? I hope that I'm not reposting!

well it sounds like i bought something official afterall.. because seriously, the scenes outside the milan gig was something else.. lots of (unofficial) choice really. just for fun i'm posting pics outside the assago forum. like a bangkok streetmarket at night! however inside, almost hidden away & as you describe they were selling what i think is official. just unisex t-shirts, one design but i guess ok for sleeping & slobbing i'm sorry darlingfloor you did not see anything.

Well, it is nice to see so much merchandise available overseas--but such treasures have always been available outside of the U.S. I doubt if all that great stuff will be ready for purchase in NJ/NY at venues. Maybe the official W2A shirt...and that is all. I wish all that would be available... In Antwerp they had T-shirts and Sheryll Crow/Prince posters outside... Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

That's wierd. I think they were selling those outside afterwards Arras also. Not sure if it was Sheryll Crow, but I do remember thinking, "why is there a completely non related artist on the back of that Prince poster?" I assumed these were left overs from the earlier Festival or something. All that bathing in purple rain just can't be good for your health...

the situation had me cracking up!.. when we arrived there were maybe a couple of stalls outside & we laughed at their audacity, as we all know how prince feels about copyright & suchlike BUT after the show these scenes greeted us. so it was a shock for the eyes!.. but u do realise it was all fake? except the t-shirt i'm wearing which was bought inside venue & then i even wondered..
