Did he sing about Rotterdam in Gelredome I can't remember in which song, but I think it was in COOL (or maybe Let's Work).
My wife and I heard Prince singing something like: "Back in the old days in Rotterdam, they know how to roll"
These are definitely not the correct words he used, but we both looked at eachother at the same time: Hey, did he mention Rotterdam?????????
Anybody heard it ? and if so, in what song was it and what did you hear him sing (exactly) | |

It was in the song "Cool".

I live in Rotterdam and visited lot of concerts and 2 aftershows in my hometown, so I was curious if I heard it right and what he sang. Love the reactions I got and how fans shared answers and experiences.

Hmm. The Gelredome isn't fabulous but good enough for the occasion: we at least avoided the dreadfull parking fees that are mandatory at the Ahoy. Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry. | |

I'd say the 12 euro at the Gelredome is dreadfull enough. I'd rather pay the 11 euro at the ahoy (or less if you park in the surrondings) for a far better venue and less congestion. [Edited 11/25/10 7:19am] | |
