For me it's a toss up between The Jam of the year show at Jones Beach... He arrived via a Speed Boat and Lovesexy when he gets out of the car

I'd go with either the Lovesexy or Diamonds and Pearls entrance.

ok... I was at the first Musicology show at MSG and he just came up from the stage floor... I didnt see him being rolled down the aisle in a box..

He came up from under the stage in a capsule (like the one in the 7 video) amid smoke after Rosie Gaines sang Precious Lord. I got lucky and saw the 2 preview shows, one at Glam Slam and the other at Paisley Park. He only did it at the one at Paisley Park, though.

I was at the Sunday night show at IZOD (whatever the name was then- Continental?), in the 100s- we saw some "roadies" rolling a big black box down the aisle. We figured out that Prince must me in it, because the opening music had started and they rolled it into a compartment under the stage.

I was in the 2nd row in Philly on the side where they rolled the box under. They left the curtain open, so we got to see him climb out and get onto the platform.

He did that at all the shows, although if you didn't know it before hand you wouldn't have known. He was actually IN the box. Same as the Lovesexy tour, they rolled him to the stage in a box. The rest of the band walked from backstage to the center of the arena. Cool shit! Sheila leading the way...

Since I was at the Jones Beach show, I would vote for the speedboat entrance. Ohwooing, and then seeing him enter from the water. Fooled me and made for a great night.

Wembley Stadium in '93. After Mayte had mimed to My Name Is Prince, the band started playing Sexy Mf and he just strolled on in that way he has as though nothing big was happening

The best concert entrance TO ME was Bruxelles in 19....He opened with "I am the one".

It was dark, mysterious and magnificent. Just him and his voice. NO horns, no drumms no nothing in the way, that distracts from the man and his charisma and talent. I still shiver when remebering that.

I kinda liked the opening of the last night of the o2 concerts, but I also really likes the opening of the Herning concert recently with 'Empty Room'. Hadn't heard Empty Room live before... Beautiful!

Milan 3rd Nov was quite funny. The band was jamming, houslights were still on - and suddenly he was there. And 2 funny that half of the audience had gone already when the band returned 2 the stage.

But my fav moment still is Rotterdam 1986, Parade Tour. My first Prince concert. No matter how retarded I may ever get, I will never 4get that nite.

that was cool, i loved that no frills approach, took everyone by suprise especially with stratus. it felt like he really meant business

i don't know if it counts but 4 his encores at the o2 (21 nights) he was delivered to the stage in a damn box on flippin wheels! this was my 1st experience of prince. it was defo a wtf moment, this bloke was genuine fruitcake. but a beautiful one

When on stage after some dancing it appeared not to be PRINCE but MAYTE !!!!!!

I like the SOTT entrance a lot. They blew smoke on the stage until all you could see was smoke and he slowly emerged out of the fog with his guitar and that beautiful long coat and started Sign O The Times.
