I redeemed my VIP packages today, but I still can't seem to redeem the standard tour shirt that I added to my standard ticket purchase for $29.95. Musictoday is trying to tack on $8.50 in shipping to a $20.10 shirt for which we paid $29.95.

Anyone else have any luck redeeming the standard tour shirt?

Actually, looks like they've corrected the problem and I was just now able to order the standard shirt with no problem (free shipping, plus I didn't get any notice that it was backordered--odd?). I ordered an XL of that one, since those shirts always shrink up.

Why not just buy the t-shirts at the venue?

I got a msg Tue morning from MusicToday regarding the tshirt shipping charges. Here's what they had to say:

Unfortunately the ticketmaster promotion did not extend to shipping costs. Please call ticketmaster at: 800-745-3000 regarding this issue. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Plz! I don't even care for that shirt! I was hoping, by miracle, that it would be a Trunk shirt, not the usual Hanes stuff. I'm not paying more for something am not even a fan of. I'd rather swallow the cost.

I use the promotion codes and it worked great

oh perfect i just got the email saying shirts are on backorder 1-4 weeks longer...so aint it already gonna take 30-60 days??

How old school to have to carry around your merch during the concert or at the after shows. In all honesty, it was an impulse-freak-out-trying-to-complete-the-transaction-and-just-answering-yes-to-everything purchase. In hindsight, I would not have ordered it; especially since I ended up getting the VIP packages with the TrunkTs the next day. Live and learn--I'll add it to the pile of crap-tastic concert Ts...
