Purple is my favorite. I like teal and yellow as well. Mainly because they look good on me. Michael, seeing Prince is the Only thing that was on my bucket list. I was worried that he would retire or stop touring before I was able to see him. I pouted for a month last year when I couldn't go to see him in Vegas. I had joined the Lotusflow3r thing and got tickets to go to Leno but couldn't go. I hope it lives up to everything I imagine. I love his music so much I'm sure it will be amazing! Hold on to your dream of seeing him.

Well, whatever color you where be sure not to make the mistake I made for my first concert....I wore high heels....THAT WAS STUPID!! My fucking feet where killing me and for the next three concerts I went to I made a vow never to do that again. MAKE SURE YOUR FOOTWEAR IS COMFORTABLE cause you are gonna be on your feet at least 80% of the time!!! oh and don't drink too much, I like to drink, but I never drink when going to see Prince cause I want to remember every little guitar lick and every little cute smile he ever does...

Besides with everyone else wearing purple (or black) it's so much easier to stand out in the crowd and maybe get a tamborine tossed my way, get invited on stage or something if I am wearing different color than everyone else. I'm not even interested in become the next Mrs. Nelson, musically we're a match otherwise he's not my type and I doubt I am his.

I've worn all kinds of stuff... when I had a 6-pack, the outfits were FIERCE!

I just want to wear that lace top because I never wear it.

Plus, I'm not trying to be noticed by Prince.

What to wear, always a good question. In summer I wore casual clothes to Werchter and ended up wearing a garbage bag against the rain and sudden cold. Such is life.

Where is the concert? If it's inside, I would definitely dress up. In summer I went shopping for something purple but couldn't find anything I liked. Don't know if you ever have that problem. I do constantly. Know what I want but can't find it. It doesn't help build mood to the concert if you can't find something.

So, your attire doesn't have to be something new. Simple black sexy dress always works I think and low pump heels so you can dance. You can always wear purple underwear for the purple feeling

I wouldn't go for jeans personally. It's a night to dress up!

I'll be going to my 3rd concert. It will addict you healthy your first one I think. The wait will have been worth it. Have a ball!

I agree. If the concert's indoor : dress up !! It's really like dressing up for a party. (Garbage bags, not my favourite peace of clothing either - I didn't even bring one to Werchter so I got soaking wet. Thank God it was a hot summer's day, so it wasn't too bad in the end, but I did have on very casual clothes because it was an outdoor performance.)

The colour of your clothes isn't that important, but if you can't decide - and you look good in purple - go for the purple outfit.

Concert tees make me cringe. I just feel like when I go to a show, I want to exert my individuality.

I don't knowww. I was so upset during the 2004 concert tour that I could not find a purple tshirt with Prince's picture on it in that NPGMC, that I made up my own tshirt for the concert.

It was royal purple, the picture was the classic 1999 picture of Prince in purple jacket, and on the back I used gold letters that said

"Class in session. Musicology 2004"

Honest to God, I got so much attention from that shirt at the concert. People asking where did I buy it, can I make one for them... that I got nervous that the Purple police was going to confiscate our bootleg shirts.
