Paradiso is booked that night. Just as Tivoli in Utrecht and Het Paard in The Hague.....

If an aftershow happens it will be starting between 2-3 am. Does not that allow the venue to change equipment in time (regular show in either venue will end at 23:00, 2 hours to remove that equipment and 2 hours to build up the equipment for Prince)?

Any other venues near Arnhem available? Or what about Nighttown R'dam (currently named WATT)?

I already mailed all of those venues you mentioned - only got an answer from Paradiso (don't know anything). It's still too early - he first has to return from his trip to Abu. Then, when he finds out that Arnhem is not sold out, there's the chance he will do just a standard show and no pre- or aftershow. And he IS keeping score - his first remark at Antwerp was, while playing Controversy: sold out in five days, flat. And that could be a reason he was so happy that night and played for nearly 3 hours. But be advised: I live in Amsterdam and I will be calling the venues on Tuesday-night: Paradiso, Melkweg, Tivoli + Trojan Horse to start with. Will keep everybody up2date here. The Nighttown / WATT is no longer an option (thank God) because the place is closed / bankrupt since June 2010. eek

On the ticket site it is no longe possible to see the map of the venue with sold/non-sold tickets. anybody has some insighton this matter.

BTW, let's not forget Gelredome is about twice the size of the Sportpaleis.

From that I can conclude:

South Tribune: 60% sell out

West Tribune: 95% sell out

East Tribune: 85% sell out

Field: Sold out!

Well, Antwerp was sold out because of all the Dutchies that were there wink

I still hope for Paradiso, because I really like the atmosphere of that venue, it's a church after all...

However, at Paradiso the "Forced landing" is programmed, and that will last till 4, so little change of P overthere. And someone told me that negotiations with P and P didn't go very smooth this year. Issues about money, somebody wanted a lump sum.....

In the Melkweg it might happen, after the concert of "Die antwoord" (he's from South Africa and really good btw). The Melkweg is a good second best.....

And, you'r right, he might not want to jam afterwards. However, I sure do hope he wants to. With Candy or Hans Dulfer? And sing with Alain Clark? I know Alain is a big Prince fan, or play with Anne Soldaat....Enough Dutchies to jam with if he wants to....

Although it's very sad news, I think John Blackwell will be in the band thursday. ( or else it will be Cora )

Why is a small chance at hearing slightly newer stuff as well a bad thing? The average age of the songs in the main set of the main show is 23+ years...

Looks like something happened on the south side. suddenly in all blocks all the seats up tot the same row are no longer for sale. Will they be hanging up a curtain or something?

Why interpret stuff as a fight?
Perhaps you did not noice the difference between summer leg setlist and the setlist of the recent shows. Please have a look.
I just asked a question. I do not think taht is areason for your hostility.

Besides for what I understand;

Sportpaleis: approx 15.000 tickets (?)

GelreDome: approx 30.000 tickets (?)

And was Sportpaleis really sold-out officially?

I could still buy tickets at 13:00 that same day.

Thanks for qualifying us.
Yes, I know the reasons for feeling left out: I booked for Geneva and Helsinki.
So please do not dismiss us.

I think so, despite that I think Prince did a great job almost selling out the venue cool
