Hey... Yep we worden oud. The good old days.

Dacht what the hell en heb ze afgewezen.

May I ask if it there are seats and standing tickets or only standing ?

How many people can go inside ?

Thanks !

WTPOOH

It's a stadium, so centre field is just standing and on the sides it's 2 levels of seats. Quit a nice arena, sound is pretty good (compared to the Amsterdam Arena). Appr. 30-35.000 people to fill it up.

And it doesn't say anywhere that's it's the Gelredome XS (smaller venue), but still he will sell out. Why so little trust people. It's been 8 years for most dutch fans, so they can't wait to go.

THANKS FOR THE INFORMATION !

Ooh sorry you already give him a answer, didn't see that, sorry! smile

But i agree, it's a lot better than the Amsterdam ArenA.

As you can see on the site of the event on gelredome.nl, this is not the small configuration, it is the whole stadium.

On moquake.com I asked how late you had to be in Arnhem to be in the front row. They said 08.00!!

Do you really have to be there that early to get in the front row?

smile YEP.... probably. But you'll never know how many people want to stay front row, nowadays. fans have become older, and I doubt they all still have the energy for it to spend so much time and effort to stay front row.

Back in the days (grandpa speaking) we even sat in row starting the night BEFORE the concert. About 50-100 persons. But I assume those freaky days are over now.

Freak wink

I just came there the night before. And was in front too (as always, xcept 4 this year) razz Even got a guitar pick (Love God, embossed... not the printed commercial ones (yes I love facts)) that night, used at the rehearsal. (How freaky can one be? well I forgive myself, I was a Fan(atic) back then.) lol

Ultra Freaky memory;

1995 - Antwerp.... Ultra sleepy from the 3 concerts and 2 Paradiso aftershows bearing many hours of sleep. Driving to Antwerp we came in a "Mutliple-vehicle collision" (Ketting botsing) near Den Bosch, car total-loss. Dropped the car at the nearest garage, took a taxi home and used the neighbours car to continue our trip to Antwerp (afterward concluding that it was the worst concert ever).

BEAT THAT ! lol

Weren't we complete fools in those days?

No way...... I loved it.

no bitch fight here, I'm perfectly comfortable admitting Bobbink was the greater freak :-p

I highly doubt it, right now he's basically touring with the ONA core band with Ida as substitute for Rhonda and without horns so chances are pretty slim to 0...... (just heard the Milan concert and it's a tight band)

If that's so we're going to at the back and my friend so wanted a standing place. As she's younger and probably right, I went along with it. Now I'm wondering... hmmm We definitely won't make it before 7 and that's if we're lucky with traffic.

One thing I do know...it will NOT rain inside. razz

24hours after the concert got in sale, seat avaibility becomes clear in the ticketmaster site.

From that I can conclude:

South Tribune: 20% sell out

West Tribune: 85% sell out

East Tribune: 65% sell out

Field: more then 50% ??

Source: http://www.ticketmaster.n...l&l=NL

I don't think the Gelredome will sell out completely, but 80% in total is reasonable.

Have a look at 'The W2A: Euro Tour Song Survey' http://prince.org/msg/12/362417

Let those suckers choke in it this time cool

I can live with a 80% full Gelredome.

But I'm hoping on a OMG-moment for Prince if he walks on that stage and finally meeta the Dutchies again biggrin

Hope he's in the good mood and got some tricks and surprises smile

so a sell-out would be great smile

Hi Fellow-Dutchies,

I'm wondering if a HUGE Prince fan I remember from my old school (HIO Enschede) is on this forum. I cannot recall his name, but he was the Prince master those days (i.e. loads of bootlegs smile ). If you're reading this, please respond?

And now on to Arnhem.... old days are back again.... very anxious and thrilled! After the 21 nights London disaster (for me), this should revive my Prince addiction.

Marc.
