I fully agree that ticket sales should always be handled fairly (I got royally screwed at the O2 gigs in London) but come on. Prince and his management are in no way obligated to diffenrentiate between 'true' and - what? - 'false'(?) Prince fans when putting tickets up for sale. How do you even make that distinction?

It's just a forum, not to be taken too seriously [Edited 11/12/10 15:31pm] 99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

Yep. It's a free market. That's why I mentioned it won't change unless he starts another fan club with a staff to handle pre-sale, club only ticket distribution. In that case those tickets are removed from the free market as a privilige for the members who have paid to be part of the club (and I remember quite a few people at the club were still pissed about the tickets they received, or didn't).

If my memory serves me right (which it does!) people who bought those tickets closest to the stage at The O2 with the little table and table service throughout did nothing but complain. The sound was rubbish. Once Prince moved from that side of the stage he disappeared ( being sat just below stage level and a little bit of physics/maths will explain it).
So all of you complaining that these tickets are too expensive or that they sold out before you had a chance.... get over it, you've saved some pennies and will get to see more We ain't from Hollywood, so you know it's all good
