For those of you wondering about your MSG tickets and the view:

Here is a link to the MSG seating chart that you can click on the section your tickets are in and see a photograph of the view to the stage.

Of course, these photographs are set up with the stage at the far end of the floor (sections 10, 11, 12, 13 on the map), but if you imagine the stage being where the center two sections of the chairs on the floor are, you can get an idea about what your view will be like.

At one of the Musicology shows, I was in row 7, behind the monitor, plus Prince didn't play to that side that much. I got stuck looking at the back of Chance Howard most of the time.

The best of the Musicology shows was when I was upstairs.

I remember being at the 2nd show for the Musicology tour, up in the 300 section, and one of the monitors was in the way, and a bright light was so glaring, it was blocking some of the view of the people who sat in that section. This is the first time the symbol is being used at MSG. It will be interesting to see the symbol setup during the W2A shows.

From the way the diagram is set up and the likely chances that the head of the symbol will be holding the band, the best floor sections look like 21,22,23, and 20. I'm close enough to run and jump on stage. I'm short and stealthy and blend in well with my surroundings...and I look super innocent so if they stop me I can just fake confusion and say I was looking for a shortcut to the bathroom.

I can't wait for the pre-show parties and the afterparties because partying with Prince fans is just as fun as his concerts. Meetups for drinks before the show and parties after the show anyone? I plan on pulling an all-nighter on this one.
