Does anyone know if Prince is coming to Minnesota for his Welcome 2 America tour? And if he is, tell him to announce the concert maybe two months before the show instead of two DAYS before the show like he did with Paisley Park last year. Haha XD

Prince will only play where he can get maximum cash.

It's not officially a tour yet. Tickets have always went on sale a couple days after they were announced, at least from my experience. Prince will do a show in Minneapolis, whether it be at Paisley Park or another venue even if a full scale tour doesn't happen.

im pretty sure he will announce more dates in other states soon...i mean america IS more then just 2 states...

and even if he doesn't then im pretty sure he'll do a concert at Paisley Park next yr since he DOES live in minnesota...

I'm up for whenever, though if he does it in late Feb/early March, that will be fine too since I'm planning on being in Minnesota during this time..a little notice would be good, since I can and will change my travel plans around a Prince concert!! My niece is really looking forward to her first Prince concert and her first trip to the MOA.

If he do a huge advertisement for 1st ave ppl will come from EVERYWHERE!

i wanna go to that area so bad. but if he did getting in would be impossible!i want a pic of first ave,paisley park thru the gates and cruise the mall of america!!!

Not in the dead of winter you don't! Getting in to a show here wouldn't be anymore difficult than most places. Last years show at Paisley Park wasn't even maxed out and those tickets were cheap. I can't remember how much, but they were under $50 and he played for 3 hours.

wow. but i'm all the way in jersey. i'm dreaming. airfare to that area? i ain't driving! i drove to ohio to investigate the haunted prison from shawshank redemption but minnesota is much further!

No! I had lunch with Prince yesterday and he said "NO!"

That would be awesome!! I am hoping for a concert in Minnesota too, I've been wanting to visit for awhile, plan on going in the spring if a concert isn't announced before then!

i will be outta my mind if he doesnt travel west. I need him to play in Vegas, LA or Phoenix so I can get cheap airline tickets or I cant go. Would LOVE to see him in Minn. would die for that!
