does anyone know if floor tickets in the us will be seats set up or GA standing room? now he's playing big venues like football stadiums in europe right with GA floor? what has he done in the past? i've yet to see in live...

There's no GA standing area at Madison Square Garden. It's an arena, which has floor seats, then the rows of regular seats in the arena.

no they have removable seats on the floor so they can have many types of events.and set them up however. i'm looking thru my old stubs now. i've seen shows there with GA. korn in 2002 !

pearl jam had seats set up in 2003..

they set up for boxing and the big dog show!

I imagine they can, but any Prince concert I've seen at MSG in the past, always had floor seats present, during his shows. Guess you'll have to wait and see.

alright good. i take comfort in the fact i can go pee in between bands and noit lose my spot or have to worry about getting there 3-4 hours in advance to be in line to run to get a good spot!

Never in my life had I experienced a standing floor concert, until last week when I went to see My Morning Jacket at Terminal 5. Definitely a unique experience.

Not to generalize, but the overall movements of the fans at the MMJ concert were limited to intense head-bobbing up & down. I can't imagine being that cramped & standing while Prince fans get funky all around me!

My sense of smell is screwed up, but the one thing I did smell that night was some mary-jane.

yeah my allergies are terrible and i barely have any sense or smell or taste but that's a strong smell you cant forget. aint they scared to get caught? well when i smoked clove cigarettes back in the day i had one in between nands and the staff could care less but they aren't illegal drugs!
