I'll give Herning this, it was really cool that they had opened the smaller arena, so people could wait inside, until the doors opened, as opposed to the long cold wait outside Forum, after the doors should've opened.

Also there was no farting experience in Herning wink was standing close to someone who kept farting in Copenhagen and couldn't move lol

I had way more room to dance in Herning, so that was cool and a full view - I'm short so that's not a given - so in that respect Herning was super nice. Only minus was the lack of audience responce in the middle and back.

Why was paying 500 DKK so hard to do so that the queue moved so unbaringly slow?

Is the crisis hitting too hard in Denmark?

Or is 500 considered much? (about 70 euros.... see xe.com/ucc for details)

Udo

I don't get the price issue either. I understand the irritation about first being told it costs 300 kr. Then you stand in the freezing cold for 2-3 hours. And then you are being told that it now costs 500 kr. That's a serious slap in the face. And ethically wrong.

Personally, I would pay 500 kr. any day if I got the opportunity to see musicians on this level get to play and hang out on stage. 500 kr. is not much for quality time and music. It's a matter of prioritizing.

The price increase is typical for the way stuff is arranged.

Then still: Be reasonable. 300 is too cheap. It's even less than what we paid at the Palais in Cannes! And that was cheap with 50 euros.

500 DKK: plunk it down and walk in. Is that so difficult?

Everyone who spent more than 4 seconds over paying at the door at the Amager Bio caused us in the queue even greater suffering:

- Get hands out of pockets when getting in sight of the door

- Fumble for cash

- Have amount ready

- Walk into entrance

- Pay (plunk down cash)

- Continue trip into venue

Tadaa!

In +/- one hour (!) everyone could have been inside.

The only merch they had was a t-shirt with the Prince drawing on it that he has on his white shirt.

I thought about buying one, but the fit on the t-shirts looked really bad, so i skipped it. Wish Prince did better merch, cause I've always been disappointed.

a main obstacle was the point, that they didn´t accept other curriencies than danish crowns.

another counter was open for credit card payment, but that was not known to many in the queue.

Accepting only local currency is normail I think.

Do you accept Dutch see shells as payment?

So just prepare and use an ATM...

Sigh...

Absolutely amazing concert in Herning last night!

I agree! But I am also a completely die-hard fan since 85. I enjoyed every second of it.

But for those who are not die-hard - do you know if it is common for Prince to have so many "encores"? Did the concert in Herning last as long as the one in Copenhagen. Maybe because I cannot get enough it all seemed to be over way too fast. Is it always like this - that he is called in and then only plays short 10 min extra sets? I just couldn't believe it when he did not come back after Peach. I WANT mooooore.

Empty room. Cool for the fans.

I think the rest of the set list is pretty solid for people that don't know his music too well tho'.

Why doesn't he play any songs from Lotusflower? Colonized Mind, Dreamer come to mind...

Hmmm... When Eye lay my hands on U, Supercute, Family Name, One Nite Alone.

Oh who am I kidding.

Hmm he did it at Roskilde & Copenhagen too, and I think that it's a little too much. It spoils the flow imho :-/

Other than that these shows are awesome!!!

Well if you think it was boring, you should have been there. I'm just home from Herning and he gave it 100% again. Just the start with Empty Room & Stratus and then the shirt-thing. It's been a while since we saw him semi-naked biggrin

I was at all 4 concerts in Denmark in 2010 and this one was like Forum way better than Roskilde.

Thank you Prince for another great night in Denmark!!!

yes AMEN!!!! I so much agree with you, Dude!

It was the best Prince concert ever - I think. He was so funky, playful, sexy, hot and looked as if he was having a party himself. It was a treat to experience such energy and joy from him.

To me, the CPH concert was great but Herning was magic! He was much more hot in Herning. I mean coming in with his shirt open after like 3 songs! cool drooling

I did not think he would undress on stage anymore? WOW! He looked SO good - and think about it, the guy has turned 50! I love that he is getting back to his sexy old self again. It was great to see him flirting with the audience and dancing dirty again - I was afraid those days were loooooong gone! (standing in the front row, and looking at him from 2 meters distance, wasn´t making the experience any less hot!) excited

Thanx Prince, Ida, Sheila E, Blackwell, Renato, Shelby + the rest of the band for two fantastic concerts!

Love Kirs E

Listen for u naked I would dance a ballet....

Ameger Bio is where Prince played his aftershow after the Copenhagen Forum gig.

It's a venue.

Thanks. Well, that would be cool if he put that song or a couple of other rockers from Lotusflower on the main setlist.
