Yes, I'm going solo. I don't want to be charging other people's expensive tickets on my credit card too.

Wise man/woman

I just wanted to make sure I see both nights in NY in case a certain someone shows up
100 levels are still avail on 12/29. sorry keep typing "19" by mistake. [Edited 10/29/10 7:36am]

I might not even be here on the 29th.
But if my vacation plans become concrete, I'm sure I can sell my single ticket for that date to someone here.

Well, They kept trying to give me seats in the back. NO way am I traveling all the way to NY for those seats. Soooo, I am going to try again tomorrow morning when the "regular" tickets go on sale. To be sure they held seating for the regular ticket sale date. Also, I might attempt the "Purple package" the VIP's. Do we have a definitive price on those? Thanks!! -you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude!

The Meadlowlands site says $500/750 per ticket for those, but MSG doesn't say.
I wonder if floor seats will be available tomorrow. I got mine (see above) in Lgoe and 100 level for my 2 nights and since I'm on the West Coast now, don't want to get up early again
I always feel like the floor goes to radio stations, insiders, firends etc. Will be interesting if people get better seats tomorrow.

I am right there with you. My only HOPE is something is available tomorrow because they "saved" so many seats for the general public. I am bummed also. I just could NOT see myself sitting way in the back after driving 9 hours to see him. No way! I started trying at 1000 on the nose too! -you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude!

What are you considering "the back"? How can you tell given the guitar shape stage? or were you expecting floor seats?
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |

I didn't go for floor. I got Sections 120 & 122 for Dec. 15 & 17 respectively. They were $173. each.

Me either, I heard from someone who was on the floor for Musicology -- they spent the whole night standing, looking up at the stage. No thanks. I wanted sections 79/80 or 54/55 at MSG. Didn't get those, but did get loge sections a little further down the , near the front rows of each section, so I'm okay with that. I have to buy some tix for my boss tomorrow -- if I can better seats tomorrow, I'll take those and give her one of my loge sections. They're still good seats. Plus I am hoping for at least 1 aftershow. I have the entire week of the 27-31 off so I can be out all night any night if necessary!

I'm waiting to hear back from my friend to see what section, but we're in the lower level too on the Dec 17th.
I'm still thinking about getting tickets for the 18th or 29th for my and my son. OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!

No fun sitting in the nose bleed seats. If I were guarenteed a great seat then I'd pay the money...but not for these. I miss the days of the NPGMC.

I was talking the BACK. When you look at the seating chart, the purple section (last section).

I got sec 127, row 25 (second best seats) for the 17th (didn't want to spend all that money for the best ones and not even be that close).
I got section 3, row L for the 14th.
I got section 1, row G for the 15th.
Decided to hold off on the 15th and 19th (can't go the 29th) to see what comes up. Oh, how I yearn for the days of the NPG Music Club right now. It made this so easy.
I can't complain because I was at the Butter Show and the 2 Gansevoort shows over the last few years and stood within a few feet of Prince while he jammed the night away. I guess this will be a different experience.

Most of the lower loge seating are held for industry insiders, but if anyone got tkts for the secerions 45 through 133, those are very good seats. The 200 section is not bad either.

Did anyone get good seats or the highest price tickets for the first night at MSG?
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
That's what I figured. There didn't seem to be any top tier seats available. I had one of those concierge services from one of my credit cards trying for them too and there didn't even seem to ever be any available. I will take my chances and keep looking since many times those seats open up later based on past experience.

I know, NPGMC gave me front row for Musicology. But at least I'm still on the floor for both MSG shows this time.
I sat in nosebleed for Madonna and had a good time. I guess it depends with whom you go.

So far I am in for friday the 17th- section 102. May still buy tickets for the opening tuesday when more are released tomorrow. Just couldn't justify spending the top price so went with second best...I still have debt from Vegas over three years ago, that was like a lifetime of "prince money" already spent For those above who have loge seats at the Garden...lucky you !! Those seats are generally excellant, particularly if along the side. I had seats in the loge way back when when he was in the round for Lovesexy...best seats ever (until Vegas ) And speaking of "way back when", I hope I am not the only feeling old what with the line in the promo talking about "maybe your PARENTS told you about him"! WTF??? Eeesh...when I first got into Prince, parents hated him!!! Ask where they're going, they'll tell U – "Nowhere"

You know how pissed I am right now. :pissed: I had the perfect seats, sec 107 row 2. When checking out, I had to use my new bank card (tm had my old on file). I filled all the info, then had to get verified. It came back stating that the info didn't match. Did it 3 times. so I called the bank, they couldn't help. TIME IS RUNNING OUT!!! They gave me a # to call. By this time, I lost the tix. :pissed: While calling the # they gave me, I tried again. Still didn't work!! They told me to call TM. (meanwhile an hour has pass). So I went to a friends house and used her credit card. I got sec 122 row 16. (not bad I quess) Then tried for the 29th at MSG, no 20.10 seats, so I tried the the $60 seats, got sec 403 (nose bleed). Now the ppl I was was going with don't want to spend that much money on those seats. I just wondering what sec are the 20.10 seats. so, just one show for me... unless I can resolve the bank card issue. Tomrrow is another day. Maybe I'll get the 20.10 tix, if there not too bad. Thanks for letting me vent. I done. Heal the body

Here is some info on the HOTNESS that starred in Prince’s video, “Crimson and Clover”. Her name is Misty Copeland, and she has been dancing since the tender age of thirteen. Misty has been called the “first” African American female soloist for the American Ballet Theater. She has extraordinary talent and is an exceptionally skilled dancer. will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"!
