Then that would be the ONLY time you will see me camp out in Times Square for a NYE party. I will brave the cold for that show, if it were to happen.

Do you just book cabs at the hotel and at the venue ?

Walk ? Bus ride ?

The concert clip has made me think about spending money on a flight

Any rumors on how long Prince will actually play? I am axcited about a "few" of the other artists; however, I want to see much more of Prince and the NPG.

If your hotel is in Manhattan it's VERY VERY easy to get to MSG. There are numerous subway lines that stop at MSG and many buses, I'm sure. It's also easy to get cabs in Manhattan, but I would go with the subway, it will be less expensive. You can't "book cabs", you just walk to the curb and hail one. You can call a car service, but there's really no need unless you're coming from somewhere there isn't much cab traffic - which wouldn't be the case in most of Manhattan. Depending on how close your hotel is, yes, you could definitely walk. If you stay in NJ, Queens, or Brooklyn it will depend on where and how close to the train/subway you are, but it could be done.

Scroll down to "Subway" and you'll see there are about 14 lines that stop within a block or two. Always check the MTA website (www.mta.info) to make sure there are no service changes, especially on the weekends -- some of the trains only operate during the week (the B for example).

I haven't heard anything, but his shows are about 2 hours long. thats when it's just him. The shows at the Izod Center start at 7:30. Thats kinda early for Prince to start a show, so maybe it will be longer to showcase the other artists.

I sure hope so. Every show I have been to he has played several hours...But as you said, those shows were just him. And you got it, 730 is early for Prince. LOL
