I wonder why he canceled that show....
I hate 2 say this, but I'm guessing ticket sales 4 the 3 gigs @ IZOD weren't good and so they held back on offering certain seating in case they needed to cxl a gig... Kinda $ucks if thats the case... People make plans once they confirm they own tickets and it doesnt show much respect to those people (me being one of them)... I cant make the 15th so maybe (if it takes place) I'll go TUESDAY 1/18..
I think you are right. I didn't think he would sell out all those back to back shows, a few days before Christmas. I am not too upset about it since I live in Brooklyn, but I would imagine that people who booked hotels and airline tickets, and those who might not be able to take other days off, are very upset. Who here was going to the 14th, and now is going to the 15th?
Me! Almost decided to not go at all, since I gotta pay more for an extra plane ticket and hotel. Decided to still fly in on the 14th and have a day of pre-Prince partying. |

It is nice for local people to change dates and venues but for us who had to shell out money to get affordable plane tickets, hotel rooms, transportation, food, etc., we can't afford to change plane dates for new concert dates. I'm going to lose money. I can only go see one concert now on the 15th even though I have 17th tix also. The cost of changing plane dates is too high. It isn't right to cancel two weeks before the performance on the 14th...
Maybe you should look into getting a one way ticket for the changed date. I'm doing that - only about $110 for a one-way - then still using the other half of my original plane ticket. |

Exactly... others outside of the NYC metro area r probably more incovenienced.. I'm lucky enough 2 have tix 4 the 17th, but I bet some people wont get 2 c a show as a result of the cancellation...
TM/LN did try 2 make it easy w/the e-mail and pre-chosen seating offer 4 the 15th, but I got bumped from the floor 2 section 1 front row if I accepted te exchange... I'm taking the refund and hoping the "exclusive" offer for tix 2 the new 1/18 gig offers premium seating.. Only problem is the pre-sale madness got Prince? |

Hello, due to unforseen circumstances, I can't make the 12/29 show. So I'm putting up the ticket here for what I paid for it. It's in section 10, row K. I'm asking for $200 even for the 1 ticket. Please PM me if you're interested.

There wouldn't be pre-show madness if people didn't post the access code.
If people got it because they had tix to the 14th, then they shouldn't share it and mess up their own chances.

Didn't everyone get a unique one-time password to use? Mine says you can use this password once for upto four tickets and it is a weird code. That led me to believe everyone got his own weird password.

I really don't know, because I didn't have tix for the 14th.
I was just sayin'. :-)
All this craziness, and it will all be over by the end of next week.

Hi all....long time member, rarely (if ever) poster. I am coming from down south for the 12/18 show. Just got word that my companion is unable to join me, so I am looking for some people to possibly meet up with and hang out. |

I hear you about switching only part of your roundtrip tix but I checked into that and it would still cost me $600 for two people on just the one way leg coming back from NJ, which is because I'm coming from the West Coast. I have one way nonstop tix locked in at a great price and it would be cheaper for me to eat the Dec 17th tix and only go to the Dec 15th show. If I can get great tix for the Jan. 18th show, it would be cheaper for me to get new plane tix on that date. I'm glad you got such cheap tix from Minneapolis--but it doesn't apply to West Coast peeps, unfortunately! So, I'll cross my fingers and see what happens for Jan. 18th! Glad you can still go on the 17th --my 200 section seats aren't worth it. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

I wonder where the afterparties will be after the Jersey shows? Do you think he'll stay in Jersey or head back to Manhattan? I don't care for 1 nite stands with trolley cars that juggle 17! |

I'm pretty sure any aftershows would be in NYC. More options and more convenience for him and the fans. I have noticed a few venues with nothing booked for December 18th that could house a suitable aftershow and a good sized crowd. When go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming! |

Ticketmaster password is "guitar" and Live Nation password is "tribute." Nick Ashford was someone I greatly admired, had the honor of knowing, and was the real-life inspiration for Cowboy Curtis' hair. RIP Nick. - Pee Wee Herman |

SCORE!!!! changed my seats section 123 a bit closer now and a better view of the stage both ways.
The first TM agent said i couldnt do it because of presale. Called back in the am and was able to change with no problem. Nick Ashford was someone I greatly admired, had the honor of knowing, and was the real-life inspiration for Cowboy Curtis' hair. RIP Nick. - Pee Wee Herman |

Worry?
It would be nice to catch one or two, but they're not mandatory- they're extra.

I've seen how the 230 section looks on thegarden.com, but I wanted to know if anyone had prior experience of being in that section, and how well you can see in concerts. |

I think they should be fine seats. I was at a b-ball game last week in section 215 and it was fine. Unless you are right on top of the stage, I don't see much of a difference in the 100-300 seats. It is more about positioning. I have sec. 335 seats for December 18th and I was stressing out because I have great seats for the other shows. I was searching for better seats, but everything that was closer and for sale is not as good of a spot. These are almost dead center so I am going to keep them unless ticketmaster releases some at the last minute and I can exchange. Even thought you are not centered, you are on the best angle where he will be most.
