Postponing the Antwerp presale has nothing to do with the so-called production issues.

http://www.sportpaleis.be...der/prince says:

So it might not be P to postpone/cancel but the Promotor. Like in Helsinki, like in Geneva, etc.

You've got a point there,

but still I understand it's a feeling you got.

Well, my feeling is, he changed his mind the day after he said "let's do that"

now he wants to do an whole other tour, he's got a better idea.

and now it's a mess.

All promoters got the same (perhaps cryptical) message,

but some presales already had started, so they let everything continue,

Helsinki and Antwerp did hold back and wait for more info, if there is any coming in the near future.

I mean, if it was a simple production issue everything should have been solved by now, it's been a week.

but then again,

I have nothing to back this up,

it's just speculation from my part,

after being a fan an attending his concerts for more then twenty years.

That sounds very logical, I'm afraid. In Finland, the concert organizers are already extra careful with Prince. Reason for that is four sold out and cancelled gigs in the past.

You're the master of sarcasm, Udo biggrin

Thanks, but all joking aside: there is still plenty of practical time to do what is needed.

I agree with udo.

I bought my tickets for Roma show on 29 September and courier delivered From Milano to me in Roma morning 30 September,

All this in an inefficient country such as Italy.

Stay positive....even if we have been burned plenty in the past.

Prince is a musician not a lifestyle.

Concert van Prince voorlopig on hold

Prince concert temporarily on hold

Unfortunately, the Prince concert that was to take place on 26 October in the Sportpaleis has been put on hold temporarily. Due to an unforeseen change to the tour schedule, a number of previously-confirmed dates have been withdrawn and only 5 concerts in Europe have been confirmed as definite: 18 October in Bergen (Norway), 20 October in Copenhagen (Denmark), 22 October in Herning (Denmark), 2 November in Rome (Italy) and 3 November in Milan (Italy). The date on which Prince will appear in the Antwerp Sportpaleis may or may not be confirmed during the second half of October.

We understand that this is a major inconvenience. We ask all the fans to have some more patience. As soon as there is more news, you will receive an email.

Bummer, I don't think we will see him in Belgium this tour. Now there's a big gap in his calendar I'm just hoping for a short stop in Paris or something like in the summer

Oh, and before being accused of negativity: seems like these venues are better for prince. not only will the sell out more easy,

Why will these venues sell more easily?

The price is higher. (a fact) The setlist might be similar. (that is a risk)

you were right i guess. Only the show in Copenhagen is sold out at the moment (?!).
