Minimum Age for the Prince Gig in Nice? Guys I've got two tickets to see the gig in Nice on the 25th and my friend has had to pull out. My eldest son who is nine years old is desperate to go with me and considering Prince is a Jehova I'm not too worried about possibly facing the prospect of having to answer what Head, Erotic City or Get Off are about. My only concern is am I allowed by the concert organisers to take my son - we have seats not standing... If anyone who knows the answer I would really appreciate it Thanks!

I don't know it for sure, but i think it's no problem to take your son with you. Especially when you have seats.

what a combination, I was just thinking today of the chance to take my 9 years old daughter with me..I fear she won't be allowed, but the best is to contact the organiser.

From what I remember (I'm from France), admission to a concert is up to the employees and not the performers. In Europe, they have their own rules they're used to and whether Jehovah's witness or not, they don't care. In Bercy, I've seen kids with their parents loads of time...

Well, in the Netherlands they don't care about age. But i actually don't know how they work in France with ages, but i can't see why you can't take 11 year old son with you, because you have seats is safe for your son. And the rest of the show isn't that shocking, i guess. Maybe some lyrics of the songs.. [Edited 7/6/10 22:30pm]

During the SOTT tour in Utrecht, the Netherlands, someone brought his little son, and Prince got him on stage for some seconds. He had a little guitar with him and I think at the time he was quite a bit younger than your son is now. That was also a concert with seats, not standing. I presume it won't be a problem to take your son with you. I hope he fully enjoys! I love Prince and chocolate - in that order

Well Prince is hardly likely to perform Head, Erotic City or Get Off any more but I took my then 5 year old daughter to see Prince at the 02 in August in 2007 no problem at all. In fact I saw a few children there on various nights. And if/when Prince comes to London again, I'll take my now 8 year old daughter, if anything she'd enjoy it more now than she did when she was 5 so I say take your son, it will be a fantastic experience for you to share together, real bonding stuff!
