Dress Code - Arras; Werchter

First time going to an event like this. First time seeing P live.

What is everyone wearing to the events? I had an idea when I thought it was all indoors, but now I am wondering the proper attire for such gigs.

Does anyone know if backpacks are allowed to these events? Beer, Poncho, etc...?

Thanks guys!

Something Comfy-Funky!

4 the ladies: In the evening it can get cold, so if u wear a dress, bring a legging with u 4 the evening.

And a light jacket. Light and layers...and comfy shoes 4 dancing wink

I think u R not allowed 2 take ur own drinks.

'Its time 2 get funky!'

Peace

Wear comfy shoes, take a poncho in case it rains. If you want to sit, take a plastic bag or something like that with you to sit on.

Last week at the Rock Werchter Festival we were allowed to take in a bottle of water because of the heat. You had to take the cap off though. But after the first day we knew what the deal was and unscrewed our bottle before going in and put the cap in our pocket. A lot of people did that. wink

Usually you can't take any bottled drinks inside, just cartons.

I was wondering the same thing,

guess i'm gonna' go with a purple dress and flat sparkly shoes biggrin

I'll try to pack as light as possiblly, don't feel like having a heavy backpack to take care of the entire evening...

More proof that reality is stranger than fiction.

Is it 1984?

No it is 20ten.

I'll be wearing purple. How original and creative y'all are.

Why can't you live in the here and now?

Your obsession is quite disturbing.

Tell you what all of you wanting to dress in purple please congrigate to the left of the stage. To the right from Prince's perspective.

Then when Prince screams: "Freaks on this side," all 50000 people will look at you and you will be able to feel special.

I bet you don't. I'll put what they called? Oh yeah, euros on it!!

I'll be in the GC so it'll be easy to see if you have.

My good friend has just re-dyed his beard in time for the shows and NO b4 u ask it ain't purple!!!!!!

Good to see some1 one here that enjoys a bit of banter u must be a rare thing. I don't post on here much seen as there are so many proper nutters on here.

You know the types they fill vacuums with idiocy. They're never satisfied. They make moronic comments with flawed logic or from pure ignorance.

Look out for the beard and say hello, but if you're wearing purple expect us to rip the peeee out of you

I'll go "pound" for pound that I don't! I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to get it out in time for work.

I can roll with some good banter. Lived in the UK four years. The piss was taken daily.

Ill be looking for the beard. I'll get you a pint of cider wink

Nice one. Hot car with a hot driver cool

Purple is such a classic for a Prince concert. It might seem a bit lame, but until he doesn't give us a dresscode we will do purple or put on old Prince T-Shirts from former aras as he doesn't do merchandising anymore.

Your too kind GermanHottie1981!

I must agree. Purple is synonymous with Prince as it is with Royalty. It's a sign of respect, IMHO, to wear the color to his show.
