Purple Rain still brings tears 2 my eyes

Just heard the version Prince played in Berlin and I just couldn't stop the tears from falling.

I know I will cry my heart out again at Werchter. My dad taught me all about the wonderful gift of music. He also used 2 drive me 2 every Prince concert in The Netherlands since 1986, and he sang the Purple Rain chorus 2 me on the night before his heart attack last year. I don't know how but I found the strength 2 sing Sometimes it Snows in April at his memorial service.

I will so much miss him sitting next 2 me in the car this Saturday. But despite the tears during Purple Rain I will make sure to fully enjoy the night with Prince, the band and all the funky fans - that's a promise.

I love Prince and chocolate - in that order

Wow, that's a beautiful story Mirabelle.

Purple Rain always reduces me to tears, no matter what my mood is.

I remember one specific time, about 15 years ago, I was driving with a couple of friends on de Afsluitdijk (all you Dutchies know what that is!), going 150km/h, the sun was setting and the 4 of us were singing along like crazy! Wonderful memories...
