Hmm. I hope they are NOT playing together. I like Larry's music, but I prefer GCS as a support act rather then a joined performance. I've seen that in the past and for me, that's just not it. I wouldn't mind Prince to call Larry on stage again for a few songs, but I prefer the Prince concert to be a Prince concert.

Haven't we known this for weeks?????

No wonder tickets are selling badly....no one cares about Larry Graham and his stupid JW brainwashing.

Although you can actually

  1. buy music
  2. see a list of upcoming shows
  3. buy merchandise
  4. watch videos
  5. get news

from his website...

Somethings he could preach to Prince about maybe, that we would like lol

Horrible. I wouldn't mind a song or two together (at a maximum), but I'm not paying to see Larry on stage inhibiting what Prince is inclined to say or do. Besides, I don't want to hear a bunch of old GCS tracks, either. It's a Prince concert; there ought to be Prince music as the focus. And hopefully there are new songs a helluva lot better than "Hot Summer".

Oh no!

Is this Prince simply paying off his Irish bills by getting Larry to provide the band?

I hope not.

Squirrel, I took a look at Graham's site, and it doesn't say that he's playing with Prince or that GCS will be the band. Seems, then, that he's just a supporting act like the promos from Arras and Werchter indicated. That's a relief, but I still don't want GCS taking up a whole lotta damn time. Mint Condition either. So there are THREE acts beforehand at Werchter, counting Jamie Lidell? How much time to promote the hot "new album"?

On your other point, I think - yes - this is a money grab.

I remember going to Wembley Arena in '98... 45 minutes of Chaka, 45 years of Larry Graham and then Prince did 80 minutes and during a piece on the piano complained/sang about how there was a curfew not allowing him to play too late!

Let's hope MC and LG get 20-30 minutes each at the most...
