in fairness though

most other artists that cancel bother to come up with a viable excuse why they don't turn up-Prince obviously in this case feels he does not need to bother to even come up with a lie-it seems he just couldn't be arsed with it-which is a real slap in the face to those that lost out on air fares etc

so with that kind of ignorant handling-your suprised it went down so badly ?

oh sorry-i forgot-Prince does not need to explain. Does not need to be respectful-just to preach it to all that'll listen-whilst sticking it to em' in any way he sees fit-like closing a web site in his mind-pretty much the day he opened it

funnily enough-he still took the cash though

just like Croke Park

lol-only die hards care.......................that'll keep me chuckling all day-such a Laurarichardsonism

eek eek eek

Lots of artist do not explain why the cancel shows and really as long as you get your ticket money back it is really not any of your business. Some of you are much to invested in P's life. Try getting your life and stop worrying about P's business. In addtion, anyone knows that Airfare and Hotel are at your own risk. Meanwhile I will keep laughing at silly and immature fans who don't have a life of their own.

Even if you know airfare and hotel ara at your own risk does not mean you therefore are not wllowed to dislike the fact that you have thrown away the money.

and i am under the impression that for most cancellations a reason is being given. be it by artist or the orgaation.

Maxwell just cancelled a bunch a shows and I have not heard a reason being given. If I had paid for hotel or airfare to see him in another city I would be disappointed but I would also know I took a risk in buying the tickets and airfare. I would not be mad at Maxwell and feel that he owes me an explanation (LOL)

The only thing I would want and legally be entitled to would be a refund on my concert tickets.

Prince has pushed his luck for years, but he generally had the good music to back it up. But his hardcore fans are leaving at a greater pace now than ever before.

Whats gone wrong? Here's ten reasons....

1. The music. Lotusflower bombed and the latest tracks are B side at best.

2. Croke Park - Its making thousands pass.

3. The Website - He royally shafted huge amounts of fans for $77. Not cool.

4. Venues - Stadiums are unpopular at the best of times

5. Locations - Arras? He needs to be in Paris. He needs better promoters.

6. Motive - This feels like a money grap to pay off his debts

7. Price - He is charging A list prices, for B list set up and support acts

8. Promotion - He need to get over here and promote it!

9. Attractiveness - Taking babies to court and walking out on concert deals. Doesn't help.

10. Late notice - Stadium shows need time to sell. He should have started 6 month out.

Mint Condition and Larry Graham are not on the B list. Seeing their show last Friday nite, they are Seriously on The A list! headbang guitar

Okay so I changed the subject from "So who is going to Berlin?" asking now:

How come 21 Nites in London sold out like crazy and there was so much energy and hype on this site about it.

And now this European Tour is neither sold out nor does anybody seem to get too exited about it.

Is this because of Croke Park?

Where is the spirit?

1. o2 tickets were £31.21

2. The o2 shows spoiled everyone, great value...great shows (in my opinion) and then the chance of a storming aftershow in the same venue for the same price.
3. I think Prince has generally pissed off a lot of his fans, Croke Park was just nasty (and the boy has now been made to pay for his ways) and his damned Lotusflow3r website must have left a bitter taste in many a mouth. ..thank God I didn't join smile

Not sure about anyone else but I don't care about going to a Prince show and seeing him the size of a pin anymore, queuing for hours, standing on tiptoes with my back and feet ready to disintegrate into a million pieces just to get a glimpse of him, getting pushed and shoved from people who want a better view and feel they have the right to stand in front of you. No thanks!

Yes. Yes. Yes.

nod nod nod yes

I'm going to reply in the persona of Laura (look it up Laura, it means I will talk like you):

"Are you like totally on crack Laura? Prince has acted like a complete dick over the last couple of years. Stop acting like one yourself. Don't tell people how to feel about losing their cash and time.

If u were not going yourself. Shut the fuck up. Take your head out ur ass and see that prince

is black and is not cool and u are an ass. (LOL) u are a bunch of asses Laura"

Sorry, I tried but couldn't get the lack of grammer, the agression or the small mindedness quite right. I will try better next time.

The only why I could be on crack as if I took anything you dumb ass had to say seriously.

Nothing I typed above is wrong or incorrect and since that person did not bother to refute anything that I said about the Maxwell cancellation I might just be right in saying that you and the rest of the bitchers and moaners need to get a fucking life and stop worrying about some pop star canceling a show in Ireland and year ago.

Move the fuck on or some of you will drive yourselves to smoke crack which I am sure you are already on. Now go find some stupid docile black person to hold hands with and sing Kumba Ya because I am not the one motherfucker and I still think you live in your mom's basement and are wasting your time on the org instead of looking for a job. Now run along and do something useful like playing in the traffic.
