Arras/Lille Hotels....

Did anyone manage to get a hotel in Arras for the 9th?
I couldn't, fully booked everywhere, I'm booked to stay in a hotel in Lille. Also, do u recon he will over run thus missing the last train to Lille?

Who else is in the same situation?

Hi Camille.

Yes, I 'm in same situation. Gutted, cos I kept putting off booking!! I'm sure we'll sort something out. Late cancellations or something.

Not a good weekend to get a room in Arras - with the festival, the Tour de France passing through and then Prince all within a week or so. I was extremely lucky to get a room, I called 20 hotels, heard all of them were booked, and as I was talking to the woman from the 21st hotel, a fax came in with a cancellation. I booked that room immediately.

I wouldn't count on the show being over in time for the last train. It's roughly a 20 minute walk from the show to the train station, and you're gonna be exiting that place with a few thousand other people.

Keep calling those hotels and hope for last-minute cancellations.

Thanks for the info, it's too late anyway now, I'm already booked up in Lille now. If the worst comes to the worst, il simply get a taxi back to Lille.

did book my room on first day of ticket sales - there is a hotel just on the other site of the train-station - not to cheap but at least a free room and within walking distance to the concert.

there may also be free rooms at the holiday inn in arras - maybe u try that one.

greets

Hi
I just called (sunday afternoon) the tourism office in Arras and they confirmed that all hotels, pensions, B&B are fully booked...there is also the Tour de France nearby on 7th July - no chance to get hotel rooms (exept if there are some cancellations).

Hi Rafael
We are coming from Zürich, Switzerland by train TGV to Paris. Then from Paris it's about 1 hour by train to Arras (we are also thinking to take a bus ride to the concert and then after the concert back to Paris - about 2,5 hours ride):

We booked a hotel close to Arras, in derection Lille.
Easy to reach (by car) and in the good direction for Werchter.
Only hope he will do aftershow close to Arras (not Brussels).
If full, same company have hotel south of Lille (bit further from Arras).
Would be fun if more Prince people stay there.....
I payed only 36 euro for 3 person room (excl. breakfast (4,80 euro a person)

Hotel info:
