Doing both the 9th and 10th shows on the Eurostar from the UK

Ok, doing a bit of homework, is anyone else thinking about it?... Not booking anything till I have tickets mind. and I am happy to let someone drive and share costs lol.

Either Thursday evening or early Friday 9th July train to Brussells from St Pancras about £40 - then I think train from Brussells Zuid (midi where Eurostar arrives) to Leuven (about 25 mins) timetable on www.b-rail.be/main/E/ . Then according to the livenation ticket site they put on a shuttle service to the gig (and hopefully after back or will be a bit stuck!).

Then stay the night in Leuven, Saturday morning, get the train back to Brussells, Eurostar from Brussells to Lille (was £16.50 when I looked) Depart 11:29 - 12:02
00h33m

This is where I come unstuck but think a train is about 40 mins and 10 euros to arras - looked here http://www.voyages-sncf.c...llet-train - don't speak French but kind of self explanitory (I think), then I guess it'd have to be stay the night in Arras before getting back to Lille and Eurostar back to London. (about £40).

I've not even touched accomodations, that's enough pipe-dreams for one session!
Times etc would depend on start times of the gigs, couldn't see any information on them.

Edit - due to me being a moron and getting the dates the wrong way round, the trip would be the reverse of above! 9th = France 10th = Belgium!

Absolutely up for this, but aren't the gigs the other way around? Train all the way to Arras on Fri (via Lille), and back via Louvain?

Check www.raileurope.co.uk for the non-Eurostar trains, e.g. Lille-Arras. That one for instance should be no more than £8.

Also, note that booking two separate tickets (London-Lille and Lille-Arras) is significantly cheaper than one ticket London-Arras, for some reason.

Bliss I was thining of doing the same thing, but the sheer size of arras is alittle off putting as I dont fancy standing around for hours then being squashed to death by 40,000 insane Prince fans! grandpa lol

Don't expect too much. Werchter is a small village and there are not many restaurants or lunch bars. You'll find a couple of pubs for sure with some of the finest beer in Europe. But during concerts the village is usually swamped with concert goers, many of them are very unrespectfull, so don't expect them to welcome you with open arms, aside from the eating and drinking facilities.

There are generally several food and drinks stalls at the entrance and inside, but prices are very steap.

I've decided, fuck it I'm going! Belgium is only up the road from London(i had to re-check where it was on the world map falloff ) and its only a couple of hours train ride away!
