A French journal only made a poll who they would like to see perform in an open air festival in arras (north of france)...Prince tops the poll, but it was only a poll. Nothing else...pity though....

it is rumoured an announcement will be made tomorrow.

Rumour seems to be gathering momentum. But the headliners for this festival have already been announced - Black Eyed Peas/Pearl Jam/Rammstein. So I'd be surprised if he plays it.

This festival has been around a while, andd the north of France, while perfectly acceptable is hardly on anyone's "cool" list.

Honestly, with P's recent record I personally won't bother commiting myself....and I live in Paris...just a quick drive away!

There are lots of great bands /festivals around Europe this year....maybe my money will be safer going to them.
