Parade tour; he didn't play guitar?

Yesterday I was watching (again) the Birthday Parade concert and I suddenly realised that Prince didn't play his guitar at all!
How rare is this? As far as I know he always plays his guitar during a concert.

I think he only played it on "Purple Rain".

He mostly played guitar by Purple Rain and on rare ocassions on Dance Electric I guess (with Andre Cymone). And the last show in Tokyo, he played Sometimes It Snows In April, together with The Ladies. I think he chose to play less guitar that era and to be the entertainer, band leader man.

But instead he played amazingly organ solos!

And he threw some tamborines biggrin

One of the shows he plays the guitar during the "burning up" part of HEAD, sounds amazing.

I've listened to a cd of a Paris show from that tour and it had very little guitar solos on it. There were guitars being played, but not what you would expect. Which is why I didn't buy it. It was real, but I wanted to hear Prince play lead and not just the funky rhythms, that he and wendy were laying down. It stress, it was very funky!

At the last of the 3 nights at Wembley Arena he played guitar on purple rain sometimes it snows in April and jammed with Ron Wood and Sting on Missing You by the Stones. The concert was the best Prince gig that Ive seen Revolution were amazing was even better than SOT tour in Amsterdam

And then Per Nilsen wrote that he played drums as well. Did he?
