But it also says $40 at the door and they charged $31.21 per ticket for members, so we got a 22% discount. And considering they are hiring shuttle buses for parking, etc. I don't think this is an outrageous price.

For me, there's not much else that more frustrating than trying to get tickets to a Prince show. Here we all know how probable it is that the computer set up they have is going to not be able to handle the rush. Here we all also know how quickly tickets sell out AND on top of that, there's the definite probability that the ticket order will be mishandled in some way so that on show night, a significant portion of the evening is spent trying to sort it out or being denied entry outright.

With all that in mind, eventhough I cannot come to the show, I've been following the thread hoping to see that things go well for those that can go.

I'm so happy for all of you that have gotten tickets.
Because for as stressful as actually getting the tickets is, securing the tickets is such a relief and a buzz unlike anything until the actual show.

Shelby will be on vocals, Prince will wear dark sunglasses and just play guitar in the background. They will start the show playing mostly light jazz, then they will do sixteen Sly songs. They will do an instrumental of peach and a Dance 4 Me. Prince will leave and there will be somemore light jazz. One tamborine will be given away to a small child and bodyguards will make people leave, because Prince needs to do a private, four hour show for a bevy of celebrity guests--free food and drinks for them, nothing for the fans..lol Enjoy.

They will leave everyone standing out in the cold until they are ready. When you are let in, you will probably be standing around for hours before Prince takes the stage.

what time are all of you who got tickets going to arrive at paisley? is it necessary to get there hours before the doors open since you will have tickets there waiting for you anyway?

i want to stand in the cold for as little time as possible!
