Who received their MONTREUX tickets in the mail ?

Hello purple party people,

Don't ask me why but I chose the real ticket delivery, instead of the print@home option. I live in Belgium, and have not received my tickets just yet.
Are there any other crazy people like me who are anxiously awaiting their mailman/mailwoman ?

PLEASE POST HERE IF AND WHEN U RECEIVED YOUR TICKETS, AND WHERE U LIVE.

Thanx y'all !
Bart

P.S. to Udo : please stay out of this thread ; your negativity makes me sick !

Luxemburg. I chose the paper ticket option and also haven't received it yet. I think we chose it because paper tickets are better souvenirs than e-tickets lol

Belgium wink
I also prefer "real" tickets and I don't think it's crazy at all. I feel the same way MCP does: real tickets are better souvenirs.

Haven't received them yet. I'm guessing they will arrive by the end of the week or early next week. If it takes too long we can always e-mail Ticketcorner to switch to the print@home option.

Here Belgium to smile
but I chose the print@home,
but you are totaly right,
I love the paper tickets more also.
I still have all my tickets of all the concerts I've been to,
I don't think I'm going to put those A4-tickets with those.

On another note, did you all book a hotel?

I do not mean to sound rude , but if you printed it on paper doesn't that make yours a paper ticket. We usually refer to "Real" tickets as hard tickets. Much better souvenir.

Although I have to admit that real tickets are indeed far more interesting from a "souvenir" p.o.v. I'm a bit mad at myself for not going for the print@home option. The concert date is so soon, that after all the stress I already had for these shows, I've put myself into some new stress. Will they arrive in time or not ? Oh well... silly me.

Now, it's fine with me to discuss other items as well, such as hotel bookings EDD, but please AT LEAST RESPOND to the bottom line :

PLEASE POST HERE IF AND WHEN U RECEIVED YOUR TICKETS, AND WHERE U LIVE.

Now Eddy, I did book a room at Hotel Helvetia for 2 nights. I'm flying in on Friday morning and flying out on Sunday night. I couldn't be bothered with flight issues on Saturday ; that day is for Purple Thangs only !!!

Gurgi,

let's keep this thread indeed about the tickets, the hard ones wink rmartin70,
I keep on learning something everyday.

for hotels and how you travel better use: http://prince.org/msg/12/313118

about the stress concerning the tickets. I chose for the print@home option because the 18th isn't that far away, and I wanted those tixs as soon as possible.
On the other hand, they aren't that safe, a bit of a hacker can download them and if they are in the venue before you ...
Let's not think about that.
And what about ppl who buy a spare e-ticket from someone else? no garanties that this is the copy that person sels. I mean it's only a pdf file.

that said, see you in Montreux perhaps.
I can tell you then my name is Luc not eddy, but that's a whole other story smile

So, they came in this morning and I live in Belgium.
They're only for the 1st show, because my brother (who lives in Holland) ordered my tickets for the 2nd show. No word from him just yet.

P.S. to Bailorin : I'm staying in the same hotel and also arrive early Friday. smile
