Ticket purchase suggestion Like many, I was jamming the computer at 12:00 Sunday to only come up with Nokia Theater tickets. My first choice was the Nokia Club, since this is the last show and the chances for a longer (than an hour and half) set is possible.
I totally understand and at time agree with the viewpoint of many regarding people trying to make a buck off of tickets, as well as online vendors, but in this instance, with the way the sale of these tickets went down, I feel that he should have provided the people willing to spend a buck on his site the first opportunity at tickets. I understand there may have been corporate ties in which he was bound by the terms of the Nokia venue, but it would have been helpful to communicate that. Maybe an email to all who signed up on Lotus asking for a head count or some other system. Nevertheless, last night I made the decision to purchase Nokia Club tickets through an online vendor, not an auction site. My thought was if the cost to join the club is $77 and then additional $77 for the tickets with no guarantee that Lotus will have tickets then screw it. Currently, there are GA Nokia Club tickets with this combined total. Some may not agree with it but considering how many of us were left holding the bag yesterday at 12:00 and 30 seconds with "all sold out" I have no reservations on purchasing from someone wanting to make a buck. I am not sure what went down with this sale but hey with a little thought Prince could of had my $77 for Lotus. Now, I will wait and see to hear how this site is any different from his last. I am not bitter but Prince, you just lost $77! Its just business.

I turly understand how you feel about this. I had to go to Human relations camp yesterday and left it up to my mother to try to get the tickets for me. I was so disapointed with the lack of pre-sale and hope that P will make some sort of amends on Tuesday. Right now, I am thinking that P will get my $77 so that I don't have to go pay $200 a ticket from someone else.I hope to see you at one of the venues this weekend.
Now I have a different question. Since it looks like I am going to only be able to afford tix to one show after buying a membership. Which show do you think will be the best one to catch. (I kinda got caught off guard, but I am hoping that maybe buying tix through Loutusflow3r will be like it was through NPGMC, cheaper and no ticketmaster fees) Boy am I glad I upgraded to cable internet!!! I don't have time to listen to new music, I've got too much old Prince to discover. Classic example : I was at club Nokia at the midnight show and didn't know "In a large room with no lights" . . . my bad Prince

As I mentioned, I think the last show is the one to catch. One thing we all know, is P has a tendency to be late. Granted, there seems to be a start time schedule but you never know. My feeling is that if he is running late then he can make up at the end. However, he could also short the last one because he has to be finished by a specific time, so my logic can be off. I am curious to know if there is an entertainment time provision that restricts concerts past 2:00AM. If not, there is a good shot he will go longer at the end. After all its LA right, and they never sleep or is that NY. As attendee of the Vegas aftershows, P definately likes to stay up late and play late so with that fact, there is a good shot he could extend out the last show. Restrictions ppermitting.
