I was looking at the scalper choices...Their "prime" seats aren't that prime which is rare. Ticketmaster has always been in bed with the scalpers. I'm tellin' ya, the best tickets have been saved for members. I feel good about this, actually.

I wouldn't sweat any of this...let's just see what happens Tuesday. Oh well, let me go back to listening to this 10/10/08 bootleg I just got...

For musicology I purchased all my tix at ticketmaster because I never knew about the npgmc until after so I guess I was a "casual" fan at the time, but I hope they use the same methods they did for the npgmc next time he has shows like this. I still can't believe it sold out within a minute at tixmaster, but then again, it's a Prince show, so not surprised that happened. I hope you guys get tix for the other shows, and have a great time too.

Lotusflow3r should have sold the tickets first. Ticketmaster is ripping people off and they are under investigation for their shady practices. I hope Prince rethinks using them. The NPGMC model was ideal.

I experienced the same thing that it seems others did as far as getting tix thru ticketmaster....BS...

either way, it looks like the pit seats have been reserved for us and the thing that will stop Joe the Plumber from getting their hands on tix is the system they used for ONA where you cant get in unless you are the actual member with photo i.d.

i loved this concept because scalpers were left out

i assume the timing of this show was a little messed up and that is why ticketmaster is selling tix, since the site is not open yet

hopefully lotusflow3r will handle all shows in the future

i bet the scalpers were all over the amex pre-sale and can get their money back on ebay due to the hollywood crowd that will want to be at the prince show, just because it is the hip thing to do there now

honestly, some of you act as though you've never tried to get tickets to a high-demand show before. in total, there are about 10,000 tickets available (for all 3 shows combined)...tmaster is in every home across the nation...it makes perfect sense that the shows would sell out in seconds.

Thing is, the lotus site states they have a "few selected seats" for the 3 shows, but it did not mention "GA standing room tix", so someone from P's camp need to clarify, if they will be selling GA standing tix as well as "seated tix" for all 3 shows.

The ONLY success I've ever had with TicketBastard has come from being on the phone with a ticket agent at 10:00am on the dot, and even that doesn't work every time. Sometimes the tickets just aren't available for one reason or another. It's shady and screwed up, but what can ya do?

Well, so much for waiting for Tuesday and hoping that Prince would look out for the "tru" fans.

There obviously weren't many tix available, as many here came up empty handed. It's funny how the ticket pimps have more tix for Prince's shows than he offered the "tru" fans who shelled out $77 for the site only to be met with cryptic "mystery meat" nonsense and a litany of technical errorsthat delayed their sign up and purchase of the handful of tix that were available.
