March 28 "Hit n' Run" concerts in L.A. From today's Newsweek article:
There are other new details, as well. Prince will perform "multiple times," in different locations around Los Angeles, on March 24, though those performances will not be streamed or recorded for the site. As Billboard previously reported, Prince will then be a guest on the Jay Leno show from March 25-27 (and again during Leno's last week in May). A representative for the Purple One says, however, that ticketing information for the three non-Leno events on March 24th will be posted on the beta version of LOtUSFLOW3R.com in the coming days. "The site is going to be your key to figure out how to get access," Prince's representative told NEWSWEEK. http://blog.newsweek.com/...-more.aspx [I updated the title on this thread as the shows have been rescheduled to March 28] [Edited 3/16/09 16:31pm]

No. You have to keep checking the website. The article states the info will be available a couple of days before March 24th. Sometime next week I assume.

I guess these will be smaller venues than, say, The Forum?
He's probably gonna announce an US tour soon. that's what I'm thinking.

I bet one of these shows is a Bria show, with Prince in the background on guitar, similar to the Tamar shows a few years ago. Homer Simpson: "I call the big one Bitey"!!

I hope it's not something cryptic. I'd hate to think that I'd missed out on a (presumably) monumental experience because I couldn't solve a CAPTCHA or think to use the Purple Dynamite to blow up the boombox.

Ooh la la. The website was being shown off by one of the tech guys n people were allowed free reign. It seems like it should launch in March and some pretty killer footage is on it. I suck at mac’s so my experience was limited. ;( Here the party may be continuing at 77…… More coming later. Oh yea how did those in attendance like that Coachella footage? Ok I said too much. See you all soon. -Dr. FB http://www.drfunkenberry.com Help others get ahead. You will always stand

Next clue from today's DocFB post:
On the evening of March 24th, Prince will be performing at three different locations with three different bands throughout the Los Angeles area. How he plans to do this is still a mystery and even his musicians are not sure of all the details, but Prince fans have come to expect the unexpected.

Attention Prince fans!! Tomorrow morning around 6:45 AM, Tune into 102.7 KIIS FM in Los Angeles. Ryan Seacrest will announce all the information you will need for the 3 shows next Saturday with Prince and the bands. Tune in tomorrow morning. Will provide a station link later tonight and I should have more juicy news around that time as well. -Dr.FB Tags: 102.7 KIIS FM, March 28th, Prince, Ryan Seacrest Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews.
