ONA World Tour - best set list?

Hi everyone.

Was wondering if people had opinion (well I expect ppl have an opinion) as to which set list / concert was the best. Obviously ppl can only objectively comment on those they attended (with regards to the vibe and energy etc) so let's concentrate on the set list.

I just read the Osaka report at

http://www.prince.org/msg...&tid=29440

And I have to say the setlist sounds awesome. I attended the last two London shows and both nights were very different. For me Saturday wins by a long way because I have never seen Prince on his own with an acoustic guitar playing "7" (mind blowing).

I guess I am just greedy but I would have liked one show that conctrated more heavily on new stuff (which the London shows pretty much did) AND one show that had a setlist like Osaka.

What do you lot think?
'I loved him then, I love him now and will love him eternally. He's with our son now.' Mayte 21st April 2016 = the saddest quote I have ever read! RIP Prince and thanks for everything.

I attended several shows on the ONA tour including Osaka, Japan. Yes. It was one of the best set lists, but I thought the performance in Portland, Oregon was best (I was in attendance there too) and apparently so did Prince, seeing how he chose so many tracks from the Portland show to put on the ONA live CD.

Having been to London 3rd and 5th myself, I am probably biased .. wink, but so is everbody's view. What makes London stand out substantiously is the set list, in other words the fact that he did not replace many of the TRC songs with songs like Money don't matter tonight, Poplife, Purple Rain at alias.

Hearing and feeling songs like Muse, Xenophobia, Empty Room, Familiy Name definitely made it for me. I just listened to a recording of the Copenhagen show (with the acoustic set at the beginning, and a longer one that London 5th, that is...cool ), but once I hear him playing 'Money don't ..', the show just looses appeal to me.

Personally, I still feel that London 3rd (w/o encores) is the best I've heard. Things just kept flowing for almost 3 hours ...

Antwerp soundcheck stands out! And let's see what Vegas brings...All in all each has it's own flavour and if you left satisfied (like Style w/ a skullcap & a Heineken), you are in good shape!

Hmmm, methinks that you bought yourself some illegal merchandise.

In copenhagen Prince started the main show playing 20 min. on acoustic guitar; dont remember all the songs, but Pink cashmere, elephant and flowers comes to my mind.
