Well, everyone is getting all exited about the 2 new prince album, MPLSound, a funky "back to the 80's" typical prince album and Lotus Flow3r, a full on rocking prince on guitar album. But how are his concerts gonna be like?

However, prince hasnt performed with the horn section (not sure about private house parties) since feb 2008. So maybe he's ditched the hornz?

The is talk of him putting a new band together. But new probably means old members. Most likely people to return are:

Michael B and Sonny T (They'bve been recording with Prince every so often since october 2004)
John Blackwell (Has aparently been recording with prince again)

Maybe Rhonda Smith might return if John does?

I suspect an entirely new set, maybe opening with the whole of LF, then playing a normal prince set with a few songs from MPLS and loads of hits.

As long as he brings the tour to North Carolina.

I live in the metro DC area (VA). And was checking out Springsteen ticket info at the DC Verizon center which go on sale 2/2. When i brought up the floor plan i noticed that Prince's name was on it. Another in the round center stage (square, no symbol shape). I went back a few hours later and saw that they updated the Springsteen floor plan and removed Prince from it. So i hope that means something is going to be announced soon. I check the new website everyday for updates and Jan. is almost over.....ttfn
