Has anyone NOT enjoyed this tour? I think that since the start of this tour in the US/Canada right though to Japan i don't think i have ever seen such positive feed back, joy , excitement and respect for Prince.
Despite the cost it doesn't seem to have put people off going more than once. So apart from Bart ! , who we expect tobe negative and indeed cynical, did anyone not enjoy this tour. Me?, i have to say i loved it more than any other and i ve seen 25 shows since '88.

The non-hardcore people who wouldn't be on this site aren't enjoying the tour as much.
Luckily there are less of these people attending the shows now that he is playing in smaller venues. I remember during the last few years walking out of Prince show and hearing everyone complain about how much it sucked. It made me very sad, but I had to agree with them.

I enjoyed the concert I went to in London - Prince is a fabulous guy to see live, and I liked the stripped down nature of this current tour.
I'd be lying if I said that I thought it was his best though. I preferred the '86 and '88 tours by far - I preferred the bands at that time - the sound was maybe not always as tight, but it was much fuller and filled every inch of me whilst listening. The current tour and album are a long overdue return to form, but Prince made the best music (to my tastes) between '82 and '88 and was such an electrifying performer to hear and see, he was in a class of his own. Hearing and seeing him at that time was incredible. I didn't see SOTT live or any tour up to and including Purple Rain, but I'd rather go back in time to see one of them than see another ONA tour. As I said though, I think what he is doing right now is fabulous, just not his best ever.

Extraordinary (and I've seen P & The Rev on the Parade tour), I really don't understand Bart this time

i have to agree with the majority here...this is the best tour i've seen. The band is tighter than a...well, let's just say they are TIGHT! I've seen Prince live back "in the day" and the Purple Rain tour was great, but partly because of his stage antics. ONA relies completely on musicianship and performance. No big fancy stages, no nasty dancers (hello Geneva), just fantastic music!

I have enjoyed this tour and all the concerts
that Prince has perform from the beginning. Prince is an excellent performer and nothing but a showman. The man has mad skills and knows how to work the audience. 25 yrs says it all. Can't get enough of that funky stuff. Is the best performer Thanks Prince
