He was at at least 2 concerts, I think both R'dam ones and in Nighttown. Prince asked a couple of people on stage for a singing contest at R'dam Ahoy 2nd november concert. The first one (I think his name was Ray, but don't shoot me on that one) colored boy, cool hair, nice smile and wonderful voice, just stunned Prince with the way he sang 'Rotterdam, we come 2 jam'.
I recognized him as number 3380, he got through to the next round of 'Idols'. It's the TVstarsearch that was popular in England and is now done in the Netherlands as well.

Oh, that's great ! I saw it on tv as well, only i wasn't sure if it was the same guy. Very friendly guy and he CAN sing U should have seen P's reaction on his voice, it was cool. I talked 2 Wayne a lil bit in the line outside. Anyway, i wanna wish him well, and i hope he wins ! He sure is the Idol-type GOOD LUCK

( btw, the show in Rotterdam is recorded, so he can hear himself sing )

I can remember him very well... he had a voice and a nice way to sing that funky sentence... Prince got surprised as we did.
